Annan doubts IDF Gaza shelling findings

UN Secretary General Kofi Annan doubts the findings of an IDF inquiry into the Gaza beach shelling.

"The Israeli claim that the beach blast was caused by an explosive charge at the site sounds strange to me. I don't believe it is plausible that the Palestinians planted charges in a place where civilians often spend their time," Annan told the London-based Al-Hayat daily.

Annan said he would send a representative on his behalf to the region to investigate the Palestinian claims that an IDF shell killed the Ghalia family on the Gaza beach.

Look folks, I see many attempts to bring the facts out here, but this statement SIGNIFIES, let's face it.

Facts are pointless in the face of anti semitic corollary feelings, and the leader of the UN is unfortunately PLAIN in his sway.

The palestinians send CHILDREN out to purposefully provoke fire from the IDF and get killed to have (another?) well covered tragedy and incident, but Annan finds it unreasonable they might plant mines on beaches? Even to nail the IDF who DO patrol Gaza beaches from time to time?
