Infidel Hunk of the Week: Bolton
Cannibalizing our Best, Brightest

Is this to be the latest blood sacrifice coming out of a bowed Bush White House? And I say here, now, STOP THE INSANITY. Throwing our best, our brightest to the insatiable leftist beast makes them hungrier. Rumsfeld, now Bolton? WTF? and Why?Charlie_mccarthy_edgar_bergen_2

Someone call that asshat Charlie Chafee McCarthy - who btw - got what was coming to him, and tell that dickless wonder to let the Bolton nomination out of committee. Someone whisper in Chafee's ear that he has a chance here to do something consequential. To do something historic, important, meaningful - he'll probably wet his pants at the thought of actually doing anything.

Rumsfeld was a mistake ........... yes folks, my thoughts on that are here -- the left wanted a clean, tidy war with the jihadis and blamed Rumsfeld for their lack of decorum? Or not. More likely, it was just the constant, inane drone of the 6 year Democrat temper tandrum - if it wasn't Rumsfeld, then Cheney ........

But Bolton? Why Bolton? Talk about taming the lions. He accomplished everything, he accomplished the impossible. Ambassador Bolton got resolutions passed on every single one of those nightmare states (Iran-resolution 1696, North Korea resolution, Darfur-resolution 1706, and Lebanon, resolution 1701) with weak, spineless, malevolent member states of the UNSC no less, many of which were patrons, sponsors of those very rogue, belligerent nations.

This has nothing to do with performance and everything to do with dismantling the backbone and strength of the Bush administration.

John Bolton Likely to Depart U.N. NEWSMAX

After a rocky series of Senate confirmation hearings, Bolton was sent to the U.N. by President Bush in August 2005 under a recess appointment. That allowed the president to bypass Senate confirmation while it was in recess, but the appointee could only serve for the length of the current Congress which is set to expire at year's end.

There had been indications that Bolton might win Senate confirmation after the election when several key votes might be open to favoring Bolton. But the GOP's apparent loss of the Senate has doomed that hope.

"This nomination is dead and we have known it for several days," a source close to the U.S. mission to the U.N. tells NewsMax.

"We just don't know what the White House wants to do next," the source added.

Bolton has won high marks for his role at the U.N. as he has dealt with several crises, especially with North Korea, Iran, and the recent crisis between Israel and Lebanon.

Atlas readers, I call upon you, now, to right this wrong - if possible. Write and/or call the White House, call your old or newly elected Senator, Congressman etc and politely insist the Ambassador Bolton remain.

UPDATE: Mara writes, "Look at this asshole,"

Sen. Lincoln Chafee, R-R.I., who was defeated by Democrat Sheldon Whitehouse on
Tuesday, told reporters in Rhode Island on Thursday that he would continue
opposing Bolton. That would deny Republicans the votes they would need to move
Bolton's nomination from the Senate Foreign Relations Committee to the full
Senate. Seattle News here

Typical leftist Jew hater. Seriously............ it's all here.
