Muslim mindset. According to reports on Cavuto (FOX) The Muslims believe that Allah collapsed the bridge. Such lovely savages. Apparently they see it as sign from Allah. Gives them more incentive in their minds then the surge. They will use this as a recruiting tool. Martyrs don't have funerals, they have weddings. Their perception, twin cities, twin towers.
My prayers go out to the victims and their families of this horrible tragedy.
New Al Qaeda Web Ad Threatens 'Big Surprise'

A new al Qaeda propaganda ad, headlined "Wait for the Big Surprise" and featuring a digitally altered photograph of President George Bush and Pakistan's President Pervez Musharraf standing in front of a burning White House, was posted on the Internet today.
The brief clip from al Qaeda's "as Sahab" propaganda arm juxtaposes the doctored photo of Bush and Musharraf along with previously seen images of al Qaeda's top leadership -- Osama bin Laden, Ayman al Zawahri and Adam Gadahn -- as well as a photo of an SUV in a motorcade.
There is no additional information provided in the ad, and it closes with the words, "Soon -- God willing," written across the screen and repeated several times.

Following the recent failed London-Glasgow terror plot, U.S. intelligence officials have been paying closer attention to the now frequent propaganda releases from as Sahab, studying the videos for hidden clues or signals.
The full video is expected to be released on the Web in the next 24 to 48 hours.

As to AQ's surprise, I have to wonder if they're gearing up for 9/11/07. I'm no fan of Chertoff's, but I believe that his "hunch" is much more than than. Hopefully, DHS has a mole or two feeding information to stop any such attack.
BTW, D.C. is regulally airing those Emergency Broadcast System testing spots. I haven't seen so many of those spots since right after 9/11. Hmmmm....

...Well we're all waiting for the big event...I'm watching Israel and region very closely...worrying about the Russian (expansionary) bravado...(North Pole)..remember my Tripartite theory...Russia supplying /allying with/protecting Iran (and others)..Iran supplying/funding/allying a multi franchise global jihad before the Iranians shut down the gulf..(cutting oil), prompting a US/UK attack..that's when the Russians will step up..Question is will Putin go as far as to threaten the use of strategic weapons (Cuban missile criss, Nuclear shield etc)...seems like the time is almost ripe....expect Iran to defiantly move after/when a wave of Jihadi operations (cowardly, murderous attacks) hits around the world. I cant see it happening now (re fears around Hizbolah rockets menacing Israel) Aug 2 date. Perhaps hyping up the hostage situation in Afghanistan (S.Korean CHRISTIANS), before publicly (released clear video/photo's)and brutally murdering them(my prayers for them). Either way, it looks like rain...

I have been so busy with so many things that I honestly don't know the answer to this question:
Was the bridege collapse on August 2nd?
If that was their attempt to deal Western Civilization some kind of death blow, that was a pretty damned weak effort.
I never want to make the mistake of underestimating our enemy.
However, I think you and I can both acknowledge that, while they truly want to kill us, they are very incompetent.
That being said, the 9/11 attacks were their best attempt (and it is very important to acknowledge this)
TO KILL AS MANY OF US AS THEY POSSIBLY COULD
AND TO
DESTROY AS MUCH OF OUR CIVILIZATION AS THEY POSSIBLY COULD.
If don't understand that fact, in my opinion, then we haven't learned the lesson of 9/11.
They hate us, and they want us gone.
That's that.
