It's a religion of peace - let's welcome muslim immigrants

Here's a vid that I think you will all like. As with the Fitna movie it gets the message across in such a way that there is no way any Muslims could get it flagged. Very ironic, holy mackerel - it's made by an American - who said only the Brits were capable of irony?

That video could make its point without shooting itself in the foot. Too bad it didn't.

Can you really not see what's wrong with that video?

That YouTube link is useless. Pastorius: I've watched it 3 times, and no I can't see anything wrong. Look, if it's too obvious to everyone else, just e-mail me with the answer.

I don't know if it's obvious to everyone. I seem to be relatively alone in this.

The mainstream media in the UK refers to Muslims as "Asians." People call me a "racist" for opposing the tenets of Islam, which essentially boils down to people calling me a racist for opposing ideas.

And, this video names our enemies as people who are all Arab and who "dress and look differently than us."

That is not the definition of our enemy.

Our enemy is those people in this world who believe in Sharia law.

If our enemy were people who were Arab who dressed and talked differently than us then many of Michael's closest friends would be our enemies.

And that is why I call "bullshit" on Michael.

Hey, maybe I'm the one who is wrong. Certainly enough people dislike me because I have expressed this opinion.

By the way, I thought that, other than that, this video was a great companion piece to Fitna.

This disagreement is a disagreement I have with most European bloggers.

I simply do not understand the Europe anti-Jihad movement.

It seems to me British counter-Jihadis ought to be calling the "PC" media on their bullshit (in calling Muslims "Asians"), instead of going along with their idiotic definitions.

And...Yep! My closest friends are Arab, Japanese, Cote D'Voirian, etc. Really!

The problem is Islam, and Islam has no colour or "race" (and if you believe in the Bible....there is no "race".) Here's a sobering revelation..the Muslims of America are far more dangerous than the Palestinians. And the Lebanese in Lebanon support the Hizbullah far less than the Lebanese in Michigan. Texas is far more radical than Bethlehem, and so is Florida.

Islam is the problem...wheter you are White, Black, Red, or just Browned off, the danger is Islam.

Michael,
I don't think, as an American, I would equate me calling you on your bullshit with anger.

I am pointing out that you are agreeing here with something you don't agree with.

Our problem is not with people who look and dress differently.

This is not a fashion show. It is a clash of civilizations.

And, you know the MSM in the UK does use the word "Asian" for all Muslims. They do it becaue they are chickenshit. But, the upshot is, they give people the mistaken idea that this is a racial problem when it isn't.

I, for one, am not going to sit around and accept these sorts of assertions when they is put forth as the truth of our problem. Our problem is with Islam. Our problem is a problem of ideas pitted against a people who turn violent when they can't respond with an intellectually coherent argument. Our problem is philosophical, it is not racial.

I am calling you on it because I everyone to know that IBA recognizes the problem as being a ideological problem. IBA does not believe that the problem is racial in its basis.

If I know someone is with me on this, I am not going to allow them to let me stand alone when I am making the point.

I got hung out to dry a few months ago, and I don't want it to happen again.

There are people out there who dislike me very much for the stand that I have taken on this issue. And, very few of my friends have stood with me when I make the point.

I am with you Pastorius....and I do not agree with the "differences in dress" bit, if that was really meant as a criteria for "Islam".

However...

Britain is, and has always been, far, far, more tolerant of "differences", whether in dress or anything else. than has been the United States and Canada. Long hair, sports jackets, black trousers (pants in the USA) and a hundred other "differences" were a reason to be beaten, arrested, and refused service...not to mention employment...in the United States until quite recently...not so in Britain. (Remember where I grew up Pastorius...Jim Gordon, Jackson Browne, Tris Imboden and many others can attest to this painful truth)

And no...."Asian" does not mean Muslim. Most Muslims in the UK are from Pakistan...and that is where the confusion lies.

It is all about Islam...whether it is the Greek Catholic turned Islamic asshole "Cat Stevens", Grover Nordquist, Lou Alcinder or Osama bin Laden......it is the Cult of Islam that is the enemy.

I believe Britain has been more tolerant, and more interested in the various cultures and quirks of the world.

Britain really has been the leading force in the integration of the entire world, hasn't it.

Michael Travis said...

Actually, the British people have refused the Euro, National ID cards, and Lager measured in litres. (hence the "Pint lines" on their litre glasses).

But most importantly, England gave us the Beatles and without the Beatles we'd never heard of Ravi Shankar, there wouldn't have been a Chris Blackwell and Island Records...to promote Bob Marley, Jimmy Cliff or Toots and the Maytals.

Pastorius said...

Dude, without Ravi Shankar, we wouldn't have that hottie, Norah Jones.

She's a singer, if you haven't heard of her, and she happens to be the daughter of Ravi Shankar. Here's a photo:

One good photo deserves another:

She's quite a singer too.

Pastorius said...

Oh, and by the way, if anyone ever believed the mixing of the races wasn't a good thing, tell me, as a man, that Norah Jones isn't a good thing.
