Labor Day Reinstated as Paid Holiday at Shelbyville, TN, Plant
Tyson Foods Requested Change from Union
Springdale, Arkansas – August 8, 2008 - Tyson Foods, Inc. announced today it has reached a new agreement with the Retail, Wholesale and Department Store Union (RWDSU), an American union, reinstating Labor Day as one of the designated paid holidays under the contract for covered employees in the Shelbyville, Tennessee, plant.
Tyson made this request on behalf of its Shelbyville plant employees, some of whom had expressed concern about the new contract provisions relative to paid holidays. In an effort to be responsive, Tyson asked the union to reopen the contract to address the holiday issue, and the union agreed to do so. The union membership voted overwhelmingly Thursday to reinstate Labor Day as one of the plant's paid holidays, while keeping Eid al-Fitr as an additional paid holiday for this year only. This means that in 2008 only, Shelbyville employees will have nine paid holidays.
For the remainder of the five-year contract period, the eight paid holidays will include: New Year's Day, Martin Luther King Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day and a Personal Holiday, which could either be the employee's birthday, Eid al-Fitr or another day requested and approved by their supervisor.
This issue concerns only the plant at Shelbyville, Tennessee. Labor Day has always been celebrated, and continues to be, at the other 118 Tyson plants across the country.
The Shelbyville complex employs approximately 1,200 people. Approximately 1,000 workers are covered by the RWDSU union agreement at that location.

The Labor Day/Eide issue opened a nasty can of worms for Tyson. This sudden turn of events is an attempt to deflect attention from additional problems brought to our attention with the familiar characteristics of this devout culture:. . .reports of sexual assault of Latina women being tolerated by bosses and Unions–the allegations/reports we’ve gotten, and workers being displaced including immigrant Latino workers so that they can bring in cheaper workers–Somalian Muslims via through Catholic Charities.

there are lots of Somalian immigrants and other immigrants in places like Iowa because our government is actively recruiting immigrants.

I have never posted on this subject, but you are right that it is a biggie.
the left Doesn't want certain things exposed. BUT, BUT, very important, there are many loyal in the left, unions, etc., that are very loyal to the principles

ONE thing that the Tyson decision shows,
IS COVER UP....to keep that 'image' of a worker's revolution in front--while behind doors, its about profit.
Whats interesting about the unions is that its 'who' is really in control of the unions, why there have been groups [left and independent] that protest the unions with the companies [syndicalists, etc]

Tyson screwed up with the removing labor day because THAT got attention from workers and worker's rights--and there is a whole host of other shit going on,
the Last thing they want is attention on those other issues so sure, I would bet--the emails to Tyson and the reports and anger--was a wake up call, because there was a journalist that was looking into some of these things,
and so they reversed the decision--I'm sure, hoping that attention will go elsewhere while these other issues continue to go unchecked.
The one thing that human right-worker's rights 'independent' monitoring groups have in regards to checking up on abuses of immigrants AND TRAFFICKED WORKERS, i.e., sweatshops, etc.,
is that those workers won't easily talk, one, language barriers is a big one, two, their undocumented status, is another big one because if they talk or protest--out they go, and THERE IS ALWAYS ANOTHER RIGHT THERE STANDING TO TAKE THEIR PLACE IN THE ASSEMBLY LINE,
three, the cartels that are also part of the smuggling of trafficked workers or illegals, especially over women in other slave type positions--they can literally kill any undocumented worker that blows the whistle, so to speak,
and four, just getting access to them to even talk to them. Because not only are they afraid there are special interests with power and money, the I'll scratch my back if you scratch mine,
who'll look the other way.
One very, very interesting thing, is How the POVERTY INDUSTRY or the industrial complex of 'aid' WORKS,
if you follow the money trail...and then you're talking some MAJOR CORRUPTION and back room deals--and on front it looks so innocent.
The actions of 'shifting' workers and how they are brought in under 'assistance' or 'aid' IS SO RELATED AND SIMILAR,
to the actions of 'hiding' and 'making dividends and gov packages' under the assistance and/or aid in helping the Homeless--
IT IS A HUGE INDUSTRIAL COMPLEX,
and WHY there are human right abuses and civil right abuses that go on with total impunity, as well as EUGENICS programs--no kidding you on that one,
because you see, the Poor, and I'm talking the true underclass--are somewhat invisible.
Sure, you see the panhandlers but I'm talking a segment of society that you don't see--and WHY THIS IS RELEVANT--

the SPECIAL INTERESTS who HAVE SOMETHING TO GAIN FINANCIALLY

do some research on that, and how its all related, to not only the shifting of workers, etc.,
but a big relation to the very programs that Obama if elected will also carry out and probably more in an extreme way...
besides, you don't think that offering the homeless in Denver movie tickets during the DNC was from concern of the poor do you?????
Or why they push for more 'census' on the poor, there is Reason for all of this.
And multicultural programs, under diversity--regentifrication,
they all apart of this too--because they 'divide' and then they polarize the oppressed groups or workers into 'small pockets'
to where they can't unify OR give an appearance to a much bigger agenda. It looks coincidental or just innocent--happen chance,
but rest assured it isn't. AND if you didn't know the INTERESTS groups that work on these assistance programs, for the good of all, etc.,
you would never, ever see it. And one reason, is Some, Some of these interest groups Do have good intents--but its the POWER STRUCTURE behind them,
that is linked to BIGGER MONEY AND POWER,
IF you go, lets say to the homeless area or shelters where you live, spend no joke, one month, just One month, living among them,
YOU'D BE SHOCKED, AT WHAT YOU SEE--not from them so much--BUT FROM THE SYSTEM AND INDUSTRIAL POVERTY COMPLEX and you want to talk ORWELLIAN WORLD,
you will see it from there. This is WHY they go out of their way to keep those people from organizing, getting together, ESPECIALLY IF THEY ARE MIXED IN RACE, ETC.,
and--those people work in DAY LABOR jobs--
and they know, the workers, and its all connected.
WHY IS THIS SO IMPORTANT: you may ask,
because, the best way, to experiment on SOCIAL ENGINEERING, is over those disenfranchised and invisible segments of society that no one is going to notice or pay attention too--also why the media demonizes them--
AND its tiered in how these porgrams work and I do mean porgrams--but, LOOK at the organizations, that are tied to That industry,
to the Refugee resettlement industry/shifting of workers, communities, etc., then
FOLLOW THE MONEY TRAIL.
You'd be shocked, seriously, look at the aid monies, that go into these programs FOR EACH HEAD COUNT.
The far left/left [some segments] think by being relativist they'll work on forming 'solidarity' between these disenfranchised groups and this is Why they will look the other way,
on some of these matters OR they won't put it together, not only that--most won't Listen to the underclass who do see this because most just think they're a tad crazy, mental illness, etc.
They are also easily manipulated by some of these solidarity groups--so you have all that working too BUT you'd be surprised at how many do actually see through that screen. BUT THEY ARE POWERLESS TO DO ANYTHING ABOUT IT
and its going to effect the middle class more and more because they want, to get the middle class out of the way--why you see a lot of the reactionary movements that are ripe for the jihadists to pull in or they ride the backs of those issues.
ASK YOURSELF THIS,
why the midwest and the internal heart of America?
WHY IN TOWNS, with, not to be offensive here, OK but think as a political strategist--play devil's advocate for a moment--why small towns with a relative or not so populated with a lot of in depth political awareness or even an awareness of whats going on globally--in other words, in areas that people wouldn't even really think to question except maybe those few,
in rural areas--kid yourself not THIS IS A STRATEGY and then, look too, at some of the geological areas around those areas--don't think it isn't related because it IS,
and kid yourself not, the Jihadists [internal and external forces] are taking advantage of [look at an investigation of south colorado, caves--of what they found]
some selling humans out for profit

connect the dots, learn your geographical geology--look at all the settlements and shifting workers,
map it out,
and see what You come up with, Then, look at the industries that are or have main power bases working BOTH.
Study it like you were putting together a puzzle,

and if you take all these factors and variables, you'll see connections, what TIES them in together as far as an AGENDA,
is the flow of money. And THAT is when you really see it--especially when its tied into the economy and economic controls--and social controls.
