Akko riots were planned

The rioting by Muslims that took place in Akko two days ago appears to have been planned. According to the October 10 issue of Makor Rishon, which debunked an initial claim that stones were thrown by Jews at an Arab-owned car, it appears that all that really happened was that some passers-by brushed against the car while going by it, and this was all inflated into a planned blood libel.

The Muslim rioters have cost tons of money in damages to property. But who knows if any are going to pay for their crimes.

Early OT to lighten things up a bit.

(My wife gets credit for inspiring this cute idea. Note that it was BHO himself who set the bar for what might be described as a whole new era in 'presumptive self-actualized foreign policy')

Don't blow up that ship guys!

Recent events have us wondering what Bugs Bunny would do in a similar situation to the one we now find ourselves in. But to make it even more interesting, let's imagine a LADY Bugs Bunny - one from Alaska to be specific.

Darn right, our heroine would be found humming - "On with the show, this is it" as she stands confidently at the steering wheel of a powerful tugboat. A stout towline would be visible over her shoulder stretching far off into the distance. At the end of the line would be a very special cargo ship - sort of like a big present if you will!

And where do you suppose our wascally wabbit is towing the freighter with all that nasty sand in it? Well, a helpful animated chart shows that she's cruised right past the coasts of Yemen and Oman. And she's actually somewhere far off the coast of Qatar ('cause ya get what ya get when ya chew on a star).

And Lady Bugs would wink and smile and say something like: "You betcha."

Love that image, Anonymous.

I just want to give IBA a well-deserved pat on the back because I realized today that whenever I turn on the computer the first place I go is FOX for news headlines, then I go looking to the blogs for commentary. And it always seems like the one that's first with the news and reaction to it is IBA. Atlas and Gateway Pundit are right behind you, but IBA is the best.
