Did William “Bomber” Ayers Call For Violence In His GMA Interview?

My answer? Yes, he did.

Underneath his calm, effeminate, almost matronly exterior, this man is foaming at the mouth to destroy America, and he does, indeed, call for violence in this very interview.

Now that Barack is the President-Elect, domestic terrorist William Ayers is stepping into the spotlight.

There are two very notable things Ayers says in this interview, one of which perfectly encapsulates the atrocious double standard that the Left grants itself. At 5:40 in the clip, the interviewer poses the following comparison.

Interviewer (Chris Cuomo): The analogy is that if John McCain had an association, if somebody had a coffee for him in his house to launch his political career, who was blowing up abortion clinics but never hurt anyone, you don’t think that would be relevant?

What follows is moral equivalency that has to be seen to be believed. He essentially says, “our violence was justified.”

While he justifies his terrorism as acceptable because the US government was “murdering 1000’s of people a day” in Vietnam, he doesn’t have much to say about the death rate after the American Left tucked tail and ran. I’m pretty sure that it went up a little.

I’m no fan of the Vietnam war (or any other for that matter), but he is being dishonest in his justification by leaving it completely out of context. My guess is that he sleeps at night either by having no conscience to speak of, or by telling himself that the US was to blame for the genocide that followed, not the Socialists we were fighting there . Perhaps a combination of the two?

The second notable and far more alarming comment comes at 6:12, when Bill “Bomber” Ayers reiterates that his movement didn’t do enough when they were manufacturing and detonating explosives in American cities back in the day, and that not enough has been done to stop today’s war against the Jihad Crusaders.

I think that can logically be interpreted as a call to violence. If Bomber doesn’t think he did enough when he was blowing stuff up, it leaves a pit in my stomach to hear him say he doesn’t think enough has been done to stop the war we are in today. If the anti-American Left begins detonating bombs again, this man should share the blame.

Here's the video. Watch it for yourself and tell me what you think.

Ayers is convinced that he's in the right.

And so was Charles Manson convinced, for that matter.

A call to violence in that video? Seems that way to me.

Wow, what was that like, RRA?

Sorry if that was a bit nasty, it was a long day yesterday.

Anyway, I was working in a building on Union Square, which is on 14th St. So I was 2 1/2 short blocks up and one long block East of the 11th St. townhouse where these clowns were making bombs in the basement. The window I was nearest faced southwest. I don't remember hearing or feeling the explosion -- actually it was a chain of explosions because the bomb set of the gas lines -- but suddenly saw this cloud of smoke go up. It was obviously a fire and we heard engines coming from every which way. It was right before lunchtime and I think some of us went over to try to get a look but you couldn't get close. We felt bad that someone had lost one of those nice little Federal-era townhouses. I don't think it was reported as a bomb until later that night or next day.

One weird thing -- there was a built-in bookcase up on the right-hand wall of the third floor. They left it up there after all the rubble had been cleared. Books and all. I used to go by there for months afterwards wondering if they were ever going to take that thing down.

The 60s it seemed like someone/something was always getting shot, marching/rioting, or blown up. But the Weathermen were underground criminals then. Now they are in power. This is much scarier.
