33 Minutes

A ballistic missile from a foreign enemy would take 33 minutes to reach the United States. With each passing day, this becomes a growing danger to America, yet our government has failed to build the missile defense systems capable of defending us against such attacks.

The time has come to revive the strategic missile defense system that America uniquely can develop, maintain, and employ for its own defense and the peace-loving world's security.

This documentary, from The Heritage Foundation, aims to do just that by highlighting the disastrous consequences of a nuclear explosion on American soil - one that could happen in just 33 minutes.

Computer-fixed-so I can view the great vids you post!!

I remember a certain Kennedy-the one who committed murder in the 2nd degree but was never prosecuted-that's right--Teddy...mocking Pres. Reagen's SDI initiative -deprecatingly calling it 'star wars'...I also remember the MSM's 'sneers' toward the plan for SDI...

M.Thatcher-is one of my role models..thank you for this great 'trailer'...Warning-warning ...

If not America, who?

Right. They snearand condemn us now. But if we allow ourselves to be further weakened. and not strengthened, who are they going to turn to when the next Tyrant rises?

Frank and detailed discussion needs to take place now regarding SPECIFICALLY what will be DONE with persons (enabling scum), in the aftermath of a devastating attack, who actively opposed, derailed, or otherwise hindered the development and/or deployment of the required missile defense technologies.

These people need to begin to fear what an enraged America will do to them following the death of thousands or millions of innocents by a WMD.

"I'm Sorry" ain't going to cut it. A brave new world also means brave new rules (or at the very least, enforcement of the harsher old ones). Fear the outcome of your treasonous incompetence now while you can still change, you filthy scumbags.

Anonymous,

If this does indeed happen, and our American Congress has said several times that it will, it will be a very strange thing to live in the aftermath.

Watch the Jericho episodes if you can find them. That will give you an idea of how strange it will be.

YOu mean the TV show Jericho?

I've never seen it.

midnight rider said...

Yes, exactly.

Essentially America is attacked by terrorists, 23 (I think) cities taken out by nukes.

Society and gov't completely breaks down. Jericho is a small midwestern town trying to survive without incoming supplies and no power. While also fighting off marauders and other towns searching for supplies. And all the while not knowing who attacked, who was now running things etc.

I thought it was going to be hokey but it was surprisingly wll done ofr a tv show.

Anyway, most of the episodes I think you can still watch here: http://www.cbs.com/video/?showname=primetime/jericho#video

they're also avail on dvd and download from Itunes but you may want to watch one or two before deciding to put the money out. I bought them but I was a fan from episode one.

America is attacked by nukes, and we don't know who did it?

Blind, deaf, and dumb.

But, the show does sound interesting.

Sorry. The residents of Jericho and surrounding towns don't know who did it. Communications are gone between the outright nuke attacks and a subsequent emp strike.

All the action centers on Jericho and how they deal with it all.
