I favor modernity and freedom, which is what I think most Westerners do. However too many people take it for grant and thus are not willing to do what must be done to defend it. Freedom is not free.
As for those women in the burquas, I have making out what their expressions are. It could be one of envy, outrage or frustration.
They are are wifes number 4 & 5 married with a man 50 years older.
Therefore they are closet lesbians.
