GENERAL ELECTION 2010: NICK CLEGG SAYS ‘LET ISLAM PRAYER CALL RING’

From the Express:

THE Lib Dem leader is in favour of mosques being able to broadcast calls to prayer from loudspeakers in towns and cities across Britain.

He says the Islamic “muezzin” cry should be allowed to ring out just like Christian church bells. He described it as “a joyful thing”.

His remarks emerged yesterday as another gaffe, just hours after he was exposed as saying British people have “a more insidious cross to bear than Germany over the Second World War”.

Mr Clegg spoke out two years ago after the Bishop of Rochester, Dr Michael Nazir-Ali, told of a “creeping”Islamification of Britain.

He also admitted that he was not a practising Christian. Tory MP Mark Pritchard said his views were “disturbing” for “someone who seeks to lead a country based on Judaeo-Christian principles”.

Nick Clegg's LibDems are likely to mean Gordon Brown will remain Prime Minister after the election.

This is all because for the first time in the UK we had a leaders debate on TV. His presentation was better but his policies suck.

Amnesty for illegal immigrants
Scrapping Britains nuclear deterrent
Soft on criminals

These are the important policies but the stupid TV viewers viewed him with as an "Obama" like figure who just promised "change" without thinking about the issues involved.

The LibDems normally gain 19% of the votes, now polls put them at 32%.

Due to the vagaries of the voting system they would get fewer seats in Parliament than Labour - who would get the most with the lowest poll.

The LibDems would hold the balance of power with 100 seats, Labour would win 270'ish seats and the Tories would win 250'ish seats.

The LibDems are wet, tree hugging, yoghurt knitters. I detest them as much as I detest the marxist Labour Party.

If Labour get 24% of the vote, Tories 34% and Libdems 32% - as one poll suggests the Tories will be the party with most seats but would need to rule in coalition with the LibDems.

This country will be even more fucked re Islam if it's a Labour-LibDem coalition.

Just thought you guys would like an insight into the UK election.

Yes, thanks.

That is disheartening.
