Obama To Netanyahu: I Know I Invited You To The White House, But Get Out

From Israel National News:

In the hubbub surrounding the “battle of the flotilla,” Netanyahu’s quick reversal of his decision to remain in the United States has been largely ignored. It turns out that Obama told him to leave because he didn’t want Netanyahu to use the White House as a stage on which to present Israel’s side of the story.

The flotilla violence caught Netanyahu in the midst of a diplomatic trip to North America. He was in the Canadian capital of Ottawa at the time, about to leave for Washington for a meeting with U.S. President Barack Obama. The meeting was to have been a way for Obama to make up for the humiliation he dealt Netanyahu on his last visit, when he refused to be seen with the Israeli leader in public.

Netanyahu announced immediately after the flotilla news broke that he would remain in North America and would meet with Obama as scheduled. However, within minutes after media reported Netanyahu would continue with his trip as scheduled, he abruptly announced a change of plan and set off immediately for Israel to “deal with the flotilla crisis.”

Behind the scenes, it was Obama officials who caused the turnabout. Globes cites sources in both Jerusalem and Washington who say that Obama officials gave a clear message to Netanyahu’s people: “Don’t come."

It didn't go unnoticed, we know that Obama didn't want to give Netanyahu a White House venue to defend Israel. Obama wouldn't want to offend the anti-Semites of the world, it's part of his ''out-reach'' smart diplomacy program. Being photographed with Netanyahu would ''tarnish'' his image.
Obama's appeasement is what caused the incident, if he wasn't such a wimp, if he was unequivocal in supporting allies, no one would dare engage in provocations.

For God's sake!

This White House resident is a real ass.

Last Friday night I was at a dinner with the Consul General of Israel .. it being Maine there were only about 12 people there so the discussion was fairly open and freewheeling. He is a career diplomat, on the left and open about it. He dislikes the Jerusalem Post and likes Haaretz and YNet. HE is against settlements.

But he agreed with me on two points WITH NO RESERVATIONS

1) If there is not a complete giving up of right of return by Palestinians there is no chance for peace. NONE AT ALL

2) HAMAS must die, and it would be nice if the Palestinians were be seen to kill it, but Israel would do the job if possible.

He pointed to Salam Fayyad as the only hope right now. Worth a google.

It is significant to observe how far to the left of this man Obama is on the process and requirements needed for peace.

I believe this story.

Good spot.
