Timing is everything and with the November mid-term elections just a few weeks away, the heat is on:

(BUFFALO, NY) - After President Barack Obama announced his support for the Ground Zero Mosque at a Ramadan celebration tonight, Buffalo businessman Carl Paladino, a Republican candidate for Governor of New York, called upon the United States Congress to declare the World Trade Center district of New York City a War Memorial. The federal government designation would help stop the construction of a Victory Mosque at the site where radical Islamists declared war on America and killed thousands of innocent civilians.
"Now we know exactly what President Obama thinks of the families left behind by the murderous attack on America not ten years ago," Paladino said. "The Ground Zero Mosque is an insult to all Americans and a slap in the face to the surviving families of those murdered in cold blood on September 11th and all the American and allied men and women killed and maimed in the ensuing wars."
"The Ground Zero Mosque is not about freedom of religion, as President Obama claims. It's about the murderous ideology behind the attacks on our country and the fanatics our troops are fighting every day in the Middle East," Paladino said. "New York's Congressional delegation must move immediately to sponsor and pass a law that declares the entire World Trade Center district a War Memorial where one group of Americans may not move to insult another class of citizens."
Paladino and other supporters of a War Memorial district in lower Manhattan propose including the entire area where the dust cloud containing human remains spread from the World Trade Center site. The developers of the Ground Zero Mosque are not moderate Muslims, but backers of the violent Hamas and Muslim Brotherhood sects. The developers blame America for the attacks on September 11th and subscribe to the bloodthirsty tenets of Sharia Law.
Carl Paladino, a successful Western New York real estate developer and attorney, is a Republican candidate for Governor of New York. He and Tom Ognibene, candidate for Lieutenant Governor, petitioned their way into the Republican Primary in July and canvassed to create a Tea Party-inspired line called the Taxpayers Party. Rahm would never permit such a crisis to go without poltical benefit - say, like postponing elections?
Hi Guys. To anonimous i would say ,yes i have the same feelimg he doesn't worry about the midterms cause there wont be any or there won't be any fair elections.I don't think a crisis like the border will be enough to postpone the elections ,but the guy who was last week all over the news the new Nr1 off Al-Qaeda the so called "Dirty bomb expert" that might be what's gonne happen before november elections.and i wouldn't take the bet to say that Al-Qaeda did it!
I hope to God that enough Americans really understand that this Cordoba Center has everything to do with Islamic supremacism and isn't a freedom-of-religion issue.
Changes nothing. He couldn't even bring himself to say a word in defense of the 9/11 casualities and families. He just falls back on the First Amendment which is invalid when applied to the enemy in time of war. They HAVE declared war on us. We SHOULD declare war on them. Be that as it may, a war is what we are in, and the Commander in Chief is on the wrong side.
If there is going to be an October Surprise he had better make it a doozy. Mexican standoffs will not cut it as an excuse for postponing elections. If he decides to go that route, what would it take? Dirty bomb? Or is he just going to hit the prayer rug 5 times a day and pray for another BP well to go boom?
Look how slippery he is with borders. Muslims have a right to build in America? Saudis? At Ground Zero?
Also, study history. This nation has always been culturist. The idea that we were an open borders nation without any distinctions is 100% false.
It is funny. Folks will tell us that we've been a racist nation and then that we've always been dedicated to diversity. Which is it? I say we've been somewhat racist, but overwhelmingly culturist.
