It says "enhanced by Google."

Can someone explain to me how such an operating procedure guarantees privacy?

Dubious, huh?

Pasto,
Warren might understand more about this.

They claim that they take your search request and purge it of all the personal information and send it to Google with no IP or any personal data. So they send it as an anonymous search from their own servers.

Google then sends the results back to their servers, not knowing who really initiated the search (since these dudes are playing the middle men), and then they send the search to you...all without collecting data.

There are tools available for all the browsers that one can use to see if what they're claiming is right or not. I can test this in about a week or so when I have time, if you guys want.

Thank you.

Pasto,

Will do. I'm on "vacation" right now. When I get back to a computer that I have these tools I'll test their claim and report back via email ;-)
