From Robert Spencer at Jihad Watch:
Why didn't the Vast Majority of Peaceful Muslims in the Islamic Society at Keele University rise up and say that they would never, ever have anything to do with Zakir Naik, due to his endorsement of the twisted, hijacked version of Islam as somehow countenancing violence and terrorism? Here we see the mainstream dogma that jihad sympathizers are only a small minority of Muslims refuted yet again.
Tiny Minority of Extremists Update: "UK students given booklets claiming, "every Muslim should be a terrorist" authored by banned Islamic hate-preacher," from The Commentator, April 4 (thanks to all who sent this in):
Counter-extremism organisation Student Rights has reported that it has been contacted by students after material handed out at an event on a British university campus appeared to endorse terrorism and other discriminatory and offensive viewpoints.
At an event apparently organised by the Islamic Society at Keele University, students were shocked to receive a copy of a booklet called "Answers to Non-Muslims' Common Questions about Islam" [PDF] which has been authored by the Indian cleric Dr Zakir Naik.
Naik was officially barred from the UK in 2010 due to a number of comments, including a claim that if Osama Bin Laden was “terrorising the terrorist, if he is terrorising America the terrorist, biggest terrorist, I am with him. Every Muslim should be a terrorist”.
Naik has been noted for his views on 9/11 as an "inside job" and has also declared that “homosexuality is forbidden in Islam and the punishment for homosexuality is death”.
Since the event, Student Rights tracked down a copy of the booklet circulated, and revealed a number of deeply concerning ideals found within it. It is rumoured that the booklet was obtained via the UK-based charity, the Islamic Dawah Centre International who this afternoon confirmed via telephone to The Commentator that they do supply the booklet, but they are currently out of stock. When asked as to whether they supply to university campuses, the response was, "of course".
Student Rights have noted various concerns about the booklet, such as the comments, “If Islamic Shariah is implemented in any part of the world, whether it is America or Europe, society will breathe easier” and “Every Muslim should be a terrorist... every Muslim should be a terrorist for the antisocial elements of society, such as thieves, dacoits [bandits] and rapists”.
More concerns have been raised on the Student Rights blog.
Upon learning of the booklet's contents, members of the Islamic Society quickly disavowed it and apologised. In discussions seen on Facebook, a number of Muslim students criticised the decision to hand it out, with one committee member stating “I was shocked upon hearing the booklet."
Rupert Sutton, head researcher at Student Rights told The Commentator, "That material written by a man barred from the UK for his hateful views can be handed out by students at an on-campus event is deeply concerning, and highlights a lack of oversight that must be rectified.
"We do feel however, that the mature response from the Islamic Society after they found out the booklet's contents, should be applauded. We hope that the university staff will sit down with them to discuss both the source of these booklets, and the importance of checking any material before handing it out."

Losing Our Sons, the Film

The following was written by Bill Warner, Director of the Center for the Study of Political Islam. We couldn't agree more with him about the DVD, Losing Our Sons.

the fathers of the sons
There is a marvelous film — a true story about real people that can awaken our friends and neighbors to the reality we all face in a most dramatic, convincing way. It's an excellent teaching tool.

Losing Our Sons is a personal story of two fathers: Melvin Bledsoe is a small business owner from Memphis, Tennessee, whose son, Carlos, converted to Islam and murdered US Army Recruiter Andy Long in Little Rock in 2009. Daris Long, a retired Marine from Conway, Arkansas, is Andy's father. Both fathers, as you can see from the two minute trailer, are extraordinarily powerful, eloquent men.

Take a look at the trailer at www.losingoursons.com and then consider buying the film. This is a good, quick and effective way to convince Americans that we indeed have a problem in this country that urgently needs to be addressed.

Here's what the experts say about Losing Our Sons:

"Riveting, powerful, educational and a must see for every American"
BRIGITTE GABRIEL, Founder President of ACT! For America

"The film stands as a warning to Americans about the consequences of a failing civic leadership."
DANIEL PIPES, Founder and director of the Middle East Forum

"A must watch for Washington policy makers, too many of whom refuse to acknowledge the obvious threats"
FRANK J. GAFFNEY, JR. Reagan Pentagon official, President, Center for Security Policy

"A wrenching wake-up call."
ANDREW C. MCCARTHY, Former Assistant United States Attorney for the Southern District of New York

Losing Our Sons was produced by Americans for Peace and Tolerance, a Boston-based organization that exposes Islamic extremists across the country and empowers local citizens to fight radical Islam in their own communities. Jewish dhimmis try to shut down Pamela Geller speech

Once again, some of the most disrespecting Jewish groups are going after Pamela Geller for trying to tell the truth about Islam:
American leftist Jewish organizations are requesting that a Long Island, New York synagogue cancel a speech to be given by a blogger with anti-Muslim views, The Jewish Daily Forward reported Thursday

According to the Forward, In an email sent out to Jewish Voice for Peace members on April 3, the organization asked members to contact the Great Neck Synagogue and request that the April 14 speech to be given by Pamela Geller be cancelled. [...]

Geller, in response to the backlash against her upcoming event, allegedly criticized the leftist groups as insufficiently Jewish.

“Jewish history is plagued with these quislings, who are willing tools serving as the public face for supremacists and annihilationists,” she wrote in an email to the Forward. “The left uses these Jews to defame and destroy a Jew who is truly standing up for Israel and for the principles of freedom and human rights that the Jewish State represents. It’s inexcusable.”
I'm betting those leftists don't even pray at that synagogue either. And if they were invited to a debate, they'd probably refuse. They're very poor representatives of the Jewish community.

No Depression

Zero Hedge:

People Not In Labor Force Soar By 663,000 To 90 Million, Labor Force Participation Rate At 1979 Levels

Things just keep getting worse for the American worker, and by implication US economy, where as we have shown many times before, it pays just as well to sit back and collect disability and various welfare and entitlement checks, than to work .The best manifestation of this: the number of people not in the labor force which in March soared by a massive 663,000 to a record 90 million Americans who are no longer even looking for work. This was the biggest monthly increase in people dropping out of the labor force since January 2012, when the BLS did its census recast of the labor numbers. And even worse, the labor force participation rate plunged from an already abysmal 63.5% to 63.3% - the lowest since 1979! But at least it helped with the now painfully grotesque propaganda that the US unemployment rate is "improving."

US Job Creation Plunges, but Rate Drops to 7.6%

Job creation slowed to a crawl during March, with the U.S. economy creating just 88,000 positions though the unemployment rate fell to 7.6 percent.

The number was a sharp slide from February's upwardly revised 268,000.

The Labor Department reported Friday that nonfarm payroll growth eased amid hopes that the economy had begun to achieve the escape velocity needed for sustained growth.

Friday's report fell short of economist expectations of 200,000 new jobs, confirming some of the weakness in recent reports.

Moreover, the drop in the jobless rate was little more than a statistical anomaly, with the labor-force participation rate tumbling to a 34-year low of 63.3 percent. However, a broader measure of unemployment that counts the discouraged and underemployed also fell, declining to 13.8 percent from February's 14.3 percent.

The actual level of employment dropped by 206,000 and the number of Americans considered still in the labor force tumbled by 496,000.

"Having such a disappointing figure in March will have a volcanic negative impact on sentiment in critical economic areas, such as housing," said Todd Schoenberger, managing partner at LandColt Capital. "Wall Street will not be happy, and are certain to punish stocks today."

Markets reacted negatively to the report, with the stock market off about 1 percent across the board in early trading.

Wall Street had been waiting to see how the mandatory spending cuts in Washington, known as the sequester, would affect the economy, and may have gotten at least a preview with the latest jobs data.

"Once again we see a disappointing seasonal slowdown unfold as we head into spring," said Kathy Bostjancic, director of macroeconomic analysis at the Conference Board. "What is even more troubling about the most recent slowdown is that it takes place even before the sequester cuts materially hit the economy.

With speculation rising that the Federal Reserve soon would start winding down its asset purchase program, the weak jobs report probably keeps the central bank on hold at least through the end of the year.

The central bank has tied the end of its zero interest rate policy to a drop in the unemployment rate to 6.5 percent, but Friday's number showed that a falling level is not always a good economic omen.

"The Fed certainly understands that this is not a sign of an improving labor market," said Kate Warne, investment strategist at Edward Jones. "If anything this is friendly toward the notion that the Fed will continue to buy bonds for longer than we expected."

Services and health care accounted for most of the new jobs, with 51,000 and 23,000 new positions respectively.

On the minus side, retail lost 24,000 jobs and the U.S. Postal Service cut its workforce by 12,000.
Previous months' counts did see solid upwards revisions, so March's may not be quite as gloomy as initially indicated. In addition to February's number getting taken up from the initially reported 236,000, the January tally rose from 119,000 to 148,000.

Long-term unemployment remained a problem, with the average duration of unemployment hitting a 2013 high of 37.1 weeks.

The closely watched average earnings level was little changed at $23.82 an hour, while the average work week edged higher to 24.1

GOP Rep. Marsha Blackburn Calls For Congress To Defund Planned Parenthood Over Infanticide Endorsement

A leading pro-life member of Congress says Planned Parenthood’s latest endorsement of post-birth abortions, or infanticide, should be reason enough for Congress to yank its taxpayer funding.
Rep. Marsha Blackburn, a Tennessee Republican, has sent a letter to Planned Parenthood in response to their advocacy in support of post-birth abortion before the Florida state legislature. Video of the disturbing exchange between the Planned Parenthood lobbyist and several Florida state legislators can be seen here
“So, um, it is just really hard for me to even ask you this question because I’m almost in disbelief. If a baby is born on a table as a result of a botched abortion, what would Planned Parenthood want to have happen to that child that is struggling for life?” a legislator asked a Planned Parenthood lobbyist.
“Um, well, we believe that any decision is made should be left up to the woman, her family, and the physician,” she responded.
Blackburn sponsored the first pro-life bill of the 113th Congress – the Title X Abortion Provider Prohibition Act (H.R. 61) – to stop taxpayer money from going to big, profitable abortion businesses.

Obama Department Of Housing Launches Campaign To Encourage Muslims To File Discrimination Complaints

(CNSNews.com) – The U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) is launching an advertising campaign to “educate the public” about housing discrimination, saying there is a “persistence of discrimination based on religion.”
The public service announcement campaign will feature television, radio and print ads in English, Spanish, and Chinese around the theme “Fair Housing is Your Right, Use It.”  HUD has observed April as “Fair Housing Month” since 1969.
In a press release announcing the media campaign, HUD said it is designed to “educate the public and housing providers about their rights and responsibilities under the Fair Housing Act.”
The campaign will encourage individuals to file complaints under the Fair Housing Act of 1968, which made it illegal to discriminate in the sale or rental of housing based on race, color, sex, religion, national origin, familial status or disability.
A Muslim woman wearing a hijab is the subject of one ad that says, “Is religious discrimination keeping you out of the home of your dreams?”
The ad then tells people to look out for these “possible signs” of housing discrimination: “I’ll show you neighborhoods with mosques”; “We only take people who speak English clearly”; and “You might be more comfortable living elsewhere.”
HUD said the poster of the woman “wearing traditional Muslim headdress highlights the persistence of discrimination based on religion.”

Don’t Misunderstand Khamenei’s Nuclear Fatwa

From Will at THE OTHER NEWS:

Don’t Misunderstand Khamenei’s Nuclear Fatwa.HT:Arms Control and Regional Security. By Ariane Tabatabai.
Iranian Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei has reiterated a number of times that the use of nuclear weapons is prohibited under Islamic law. One declaration in particular has received a lot of attention and has become known as the fatwa (a fatwa is a religious edict, which is traditionally issued by a mujtahid - a Shiite scholar who is competent to interpret sharia - to provide an answer to a religious question).
Khamenei’s fatwa prohibiting ‘nuclear weapons’ has once again gained international attention as various Iranian officials are pushing for it to become an ‘international document.’ The former spokesman for Iran’s nuclear negotiators, Seid Hossein Mousavian, currently a research scholar at Princeton and viewed by Westerners as a moderate voice on nuclear issues, has adopted the fatwa discussion as his leitmotif, calling for it to be taken ’seriously’.

There are several issues with the ‘fatwa‘ itself, its wordings, its binding nature, its date of issuance, in addition to questions arising from giving a key role to a religious edict that could have direct implications on the ongoing international negotiations regarding Iran’s nuclear program.
First, the Iranian authorities have never presented the text of this ‘crucial’ document and the term fatwa is in fact only used by other parties (including the Iranian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, its nuclear negotiators, and U.S. officials) and never by the Ayatollah himself.
The Supreme Leader’s website, which is extremely comprehensive and includes the texts of all of his teachings, statements, and speeches, has not uploaded this piece, which is referred by others as the ultimate rule regarding the nuclear issue by Iranian officials.

If this decree is indeed the key legal document regarding the most important issue in the country’s foreign policy, as it is claimed, then the fact that its exact wordings or date of issuance has not been disclosed (and does not seem to be known by the authorities) is peculiar.

Second, if such a fatwa exists, its scope has seemed to change overtime.
The most relevant statement by the Supreme Leader that could be considered as thefatwa, stipulates:
According to our faith, in addition to nuclear weapons, other kinds of WMD, such as chemical and biological weapons also constitute a serious threat to humanity. The Iranian nation, which is a victim of the use of chemical weapons itself, feels the danger of the production and stockpiling of such weapons and is ready to employ all its means to counter them. We consider the use [کاربرد] of these weapons as haram [prohibited under Islamic law], and the attempt to immunize human kind from this great disaster the responsibility of all.

According to the Iranian 2005 Communication to the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), the wording of the fatwa was as follows: ‘the production, stockpiling and use of nuclear weapons are forbidden under Islam.’

Yet, in Ayatollah Ali Khamenei message, which was read at the opening of the International Conference on Nuclear Disarmament and Nonproliferation in 2010 , the Supreme Leader’s explicit prohibition has merely encompassed the ‘use’ of these weapons.
Recent statements, by the Ayatollah himself, merely highlight a ban of the use, with philosophical and ethical discussion about the production and stockpiling of these weapons, rather than a concrete prohibition. The possession is not mentioned in his statements, leaving a grey area in what is the key issue in Iran’s nuclear debate.
The fact that the only concrete line is drawn for the ‘use’ of these weapons raises a question regarding the stance of the Supreme Leader on nuclear deterrence. Indeed, he has made it clear that he does not believe the ‘possession’ of weapons of mass destruction is in the interest of the country and raises ethical and philosophical issues with these weapons. Yet, he falls short of taking a clear legal position on the production and possession of these weapons, which may hint at his wish to.
This narrowing of the scope of this prohibition was later limited to the ‘use’ of such weapons, creating some confusion in the West, mainly due to inaccurate translations, which did not highlight this shift in the leadership’s discourse. Hence, if a fatwa was, infact, issued by Khamenei, it no longer seems to reflect his current stance on the issue.

Third, there are also a number of pending questions regarding the significance of the fatwa itself.

Mousavian argues: ’[t]he validity of the fatwa should not be underestimated. Because of the strong bond between religion and politics in Iran, the supreme leader’s religious fatwas carry both legislative and religious importance.’
This is not the case. Whether or not the Supreme Leader can even issue such a decree is debatable, as he is not a marja in the traditional sense, but rather a member of the Shiite clergy, who has received much of his authority not from his religious education and status but from his political power. It is important to note that until his presidency in 1981, Khamenei was merely a hojjat al-Islam and has, until now, not received the approval of any major marja.
In fact, the requirement set by the first Constitution of the Islamic Republic, according to which, the Supreme Leader needed to be a marja was removed in the second version of it, as the founder of the regime, Ayatollah Khomeini, knew well that otherwise no one would be able to succeed to him, as among his followers were no prominent religious authorities.
For this reason, an institution was established under the Islamic Republic, called shora-ye fatwa or the Fatwa Council is in charge of issuing fatawa. Hence, the Supreme Leader’s fatawa (plural of fatwa) only have a political and ideological weight and no religious grounds. one.

Fourth, despite the growing consensus built around the fatwa being the key to solving the nature of the Iranian nuclear program among the various Iranian officials and former officials, there is no information regarding the date it was issued.

Some sources cite a fatwa dating to 2003, while according to Hassan Rouhani, his ‘first negotiation with the European ministers was on December 13, 2004, a month after the fatwa.’ Yet, the country’s Foreign Minister, Aliakbar Salehi, states in his 2012 opinion piece that ‘[a]lmost seven years ago, Iranian Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei made a binding commitment. He issued a religious edict - a fatwa - forbidding the production, stockpiling and use of nuclear weapons.’ This would mean sometime in 2005.

Fifth, a fatwa is not an absolute and irreversible rule.

Furthermore, the idea of maslahat-e nezam, the rough equivalent of Raison d’Etat in the Islamic Republic’s Shiite political ideology (the notion in its modern, abstract form does not exist in the Islamic tradition), enables the Supreme Leader to overrule any religious rule, including temporary suspension of explicit Qur’anic prescriptions - even in the cases of the foundations of the faith - in order to safeguard the regime, let alone fatawa.
Indeed, the Supreme Leader’s ultimate goal is to preserve the Islamic state and the notion of maslahat-e nezam provides him the tool to do so.
It was with this idea in mind that the founder of the regime, Ayatollah Khomeini, had formulated this notion: the preservation, at all costs, of the Islamic state. In other words, should Iran be attacked, threatening the Islamic Republic, it could resort to not only producing but also using nuclear weapons.
Sixth, the fatwa seems to have been created to convince a western audience of Iran’s peaceful intentions, rather than a domestic one.

This is why the fatwa is hyped by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and former officials in the west, while it has remained virtually absent in domestic debates in Iran. Indeed, while the Supreme Leader, Ahmadinejad, and other officials address various aspects of the Iranian nuclear program (including national pride and technological progress) at length in their speeches, they do not put as much emphasis on the legal issue. The Supreme Leader has addressed it in passing but the fatwa discourse has never been a central element of any of his speeches regarding the nuclear program for several reasons. First, after the 2009 presidential elections and the subsequent wave of protest and unrest, many in the country began to question the regime’s true commitment to Islamic law. Indeed, many Iranians saw the actions perpetrated by the regime, including alleged rape, torture, and killing of members of the opposition, as against the faith. Hence, many believe that the regime will do whatever it takes to survive, regardless of its ethical and religious implications. Second, with the backbreaking sanctions increasingly affecting the population, the main problem for Iranians is not whether their nuclear endeavors are military or civilian in nature and are scarcely preoccupied with its accordance with Islamic law. Rather, the main issue is how the international community perceived it and the implications of this perception for the country. The west, however, in an attempt to take steps toward Iran, and to find a common ground with the Islamic Republic, has acknowledged the fatwa, which has inspired the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and former officials to shape the nuclear discourse around it to a great extent.
The Iranian campaign for the international community to take the fatwa seriously is based on the Islamic Republic’s ideology and strategy: the portrayal of international law and the will of the international community as that of few ‘arrogant’ and ‘imperialist’ powers that need to be overcome.
International law and institutions are often depicted by the Islamic Republic as obstacles to overcome, rather than means of promoting international peace and security. Therefore, the fatwa is an extension of this worldview, a way of defying the international community and undermining its will and norms.
In the words of Hassan Rouhani, ‘[t]his fatwa is more important to us than the NPT [Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty] and its Additional Protocol, more important than any other law.’
Iran’s invocation of its religious stance to justify its compliance with international law is similar to a private citizen invoking his faith in court to support of his case. Indeed, as one’s faith cannot constitute evidence of one’s guilt or innocence, a state actor’s official religion cannot be seen as viable evidence supporting its claim to compliance with its international obligations. Additionally, a private citizen’s case cannot be supported by a religious decree as evidence of his good will in court.Likewise, a state actor’s good will cannot be measured with such a decree, may it be issued by a town cleric or its highest political power.

Some current and former Iranian officials have tried to give an international dimension to the fatwa. For instance, in January 2013, Ramin Mehmanparast, spokesperson of the Ministry of Foreign Affairssuggested the country was ‘ready for this fatwa being registered as an international document.’
This statement made ahead of the meeting between the IAEA and Tehran showed once again the country’s bizarre attitude toward international law and institutions such as the IAEA. It shows that Iran’s leaders expect the international community to take steps toward them rather than the opposite, and, rather than prove their compliance with international law, find it easier to create their own norms. This attitude toward international law and institutions indicates that the leadership is less than ready to accept and implement said law and cooperate with said institutions. International law is supposed to take precedence over domestic laws, yet a statement, which has not even been adopted as a piece of domestic legislation, is considered as superior by Iranian diplomats. To some extent, it demonstrates Iran’s lack of commitment to its international obligations and should Khamenei decide to take the extra step and weaponize, this decision would take precedence over the NPT.

Hmmmm......Perhaps you have heard of taqiyya, the Muslim doctrine that allows lying in certain circumstances -- primarily when Muslim minorities live under infidel authorityNow meet tawriya, a doctrine that allows lying in virtually all circumstances—including to fellow Muslims and by swearing to Allah—provided the liar is creative enough to articulate his deceit in a way that is "technically" true.

Deceit and lying may be far more ingrained in the culture than previously thought.
The authoritative Hans Wehr Arabic-English Dictionary defines tawriya as, "hiding, concealment; dissemblance, dissimulation, hypocrisy; equivocation, ambiguity, double-entendre, allusion." Conjugates of the trilateral root of the word, w-r-y, appear in the Quran in the context of hiding or concealing something (e.g., 5:31, 7:26).
As a doctrine, "double-entendre" best describes tawriya's function. According to past and present Muslim scholars, several documented below, tawriya occurs when a speaker says something that means one thing to the listener, although the speaker means something else, and his words technically support this alternate meaning.
For example, if someone declares "I don't have a penny in my pocket," most listeners will assume the speaker has no money on him—although he might have dollar bills, just literally no pennies.
This ruse is considered legitimate according to Sharia law; it does not constitute "lying," which in Islam is otherwise forbidden, except in three cases: lying in war, lying to one's spouse, and lying in order to reconcile people. For these exceptions, Sharia permits Muslims to lie freely, without the strictures of tawriya, that is, without the need for creativity.
As for all other instances, in the words of Sheikh Muhammad Salih al-Munajid (based on scholarly consensus): "Tawriya is permissible under two conditions: 1) that the words used fit the hidden meaning; 2) that it does not lead to an injustice" ("injustice" as defined by Islamic law, which mandates any number of things -- such as executing apostates, subjugating non-Muslims, pedophilia, amputating limbs for theft, stoning for alleged adultery, death for homosexuality, and so on—that are by Western standards, considered total injustices). Otherwise, it is permissible for a Muslim even to swear when lying through tawriya. Munajid, for example, cites a man who swears to Allah that he can only sleep under a roof (saqf); when the man is caught sleeping atop a roof, he exonerates himself by saying "by roof, I meant the open sky." This is legitimate. "After all," Munajid adds, "Quran 21:32 refers to the sky as a roof [saqf]."More here examples here.

Iran - Fatwa against nuclear weapons political milestone

Iran says Khamenei’s ban of nuclear weapons binding

Hmmm.......Fatwas are issued in response to specific circumstances and can be altered in response to changing conditionsAyatollah Khomeini modified his position on a number of issues during his lifetime—for instance, on taxes, military conscription, women’s suffrage, and monarchy as a form of governmentThus nothing would prevent Khamenei from modifying or supplanting his nuclear fatwa should circumstances dictate a change in policy.
Shiite tradition permits deception and dissimulation in matters of life and death, and when such tactics serve the interests of the Islamic umma (community). The context surrounding the original, rather expansive, nuclear fatwa and subsequent formulations that only prohibit the use of nuclear weapons demonstrates an important point: fatwas arise in response to specific circumstances and can be amended or reversed as circumstances change. Khamenei’s original fatwa was probably issued to deflect international pressure following the revelations regarding the Natanz centrifuge enrichment plant, and in response to concerns that after invading Iraq, the United States might invade Iran.Fatwas are not immutable, and no religious principle would prevent Khamenei from modifying or supplanting his initial fatwa if circumstances were to change.

Berlin - Topless Babes Protest Against Islamofascism: "Our Boobs Are Stronger Than Their Stones"

From the Daily Star:

BERLIN: Bare-breasted activists staged rallies in front of mosques and Tunisian embassies across Europe Thursday against what they called an Islamist crackdown on Arab women's rights.
Protesters from the Ukrainian women's power group Femen held "International Topless Jihad Day" in capitals such as Berlin, Kiev and Paris and painted their torsos with slogans including "Bare breasts against Islamism".
"We're free, we're naked, it's our right, it's our body, it's our rules, and nobody can use religion, and some other holy things, to abuse women, to oppress them," Femen member Alexandra Shevchenko said at a small demonstration in front of a Berlin mosque amid temperatures near the freezing point.
"And we'll fight against them. And our boobs will be stronger than their stones."
The rallies targeted in particular the case of a Tunisian activist calling herself Amina Tyler who sparked a scandal last month when she posted pictures of herself online with the words "My body belongs to me" and "Fuck your morals" emblazoned across her naked breasts.
Supporters fear she could face criminal prosecution.
Police in Kiev detained two young activists with "Free Amina" on their exposed chests immediately after their arrival in front of the city's sole mosque.
Around two dozen topless feminists in Paris whose bodies were tagged with "No Islamists" and "No sharia" tried to approach the Tunisian embassy but were deterred by police as they emerged from the subway, an AFP photographer said.
And in Brussels a small group of women stripped to the waist gathered in front of the Grand Mosque shouting "Fuck your morals" and "Free Amina", while three protested briefly outside the Tunisian consulate in Milan.
Tunisia was once seen as one of the Arab world's most progressive countries on women's rights.
But NGOs have accused the Islamist party Ennahda, which came to power after the revolution that overthrew Zine El Abidine Ben Ali's regime in 2011, of seeking to roll back women's rights.
They say those rights must be enshrined in a new constitution expected this year. The Femen group has been making headlines since 2010 for eye-catching feminist, pro-democracy and anti-corruption protests.

WSJ, Amb. Oren Confirm A7 Iran Red Line Estimate

From Will at THE OTHER NEWS:

WSJ, Amb. Oren Confirm A7 Iran Red Line Estimate.(INN).
The Wall Street Journal (WSJ) has confirmed the analysis by Arutz Sheva’s Mark Langfan that the “red line” set by Iran's adversaries for that country's nuclear weapon development is approximately 250 kilograms of 20% Uranium Hexafluoride UF6 gas. In the April 2, 2013 WSJ news article entitled, “Iran Cools Nuclear Work as Vote Looms,” WSJ’s Jay Solomon reported:

“Seeking to ward off international pressure, Iranian nuclear officials have kept the country's stockpile of uranium enriched to 20% purity below 250 kilograms (550 pounds). Iran would need such an amount—if processed further into weapons-grade fuel—to produce one atomic bomb, experts believe.” He additionally quoted Israel’s US Ambassador Michael Oren as telling WSJ, ’There is a good point to be made that Iran has accepted 250 kilograms as the red line, but they are doing this very cleverly."

The country's moves would "enable Iran to cross the red line clandestinely in a matter of weeks," he told WSJ.

This confirms Mark Langfan’s Iranian red line analysis, which one month ago predicted, in two differentarticles, that Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu’s Iranian red line was 240 kilograms of 20% U235 UF6 gas.

His first article was published on March 2, 2013. In his second, more reader-friendly article entitled,Iran Can Bake an Atom Bomb Cake (Easier version),” on March 8, 2013, Langfan stated: “Conclusion: Hence working backwards, if the Iranians were able to stockpile 240 kg of 20% UF6,then Iran could quickly enrich that stockpile and arm one nuclear bomb in less than a month. Therefore, 240 kg of 20% U235 UF6 gas is Bibi's Red-Line.”

When asked about the 10 kilogram discrepancy, Langfan commented, “Today’s WSJ article was my birthday gift. And, what’s 10 kilograms between friends, anyway?”Hmmmm......."All options are on the table"...........With only one carrier available......thank you Hussein.Read the full story here.

From Erik Rush:

The recent rise of conservatives’ new hero Dr. Benjamin Carson in the media has not only brought to light the vitriol and hypocrisy of black and liberal racism for many people, but appears to have further stoked the fires of same. On Feb. 7, Carson enflamed both the liberal and conservative press when he nonchalantly dismantled a wide array of progressive social conventions during his keynote speech at the 2013 National Prayer Breakfast. That he did so a scant few feet away from a seething President Obama earned the groundbreaking surgeon instant fame – and infamy, depending on who it is you’re talking to.
Although Carson identifies himself as apolitical, as a result of his speech and the dozens of press appearances he has since made, the liberal press began to engage in its characteristic black-conservative bashing. At first, it was tentative, probably because Carson doesn’t appear to have a discernible agenda. Black members of the press were the ones who finally came out in earnest in an attempt to demonize Carson, most notably MSNBC’s resident black hack Touré Neblett. Last week Neblett (who sounds at least as adolescent as he looks) leveled incredibly feeble charges against Carson and white conservatives in general, alleging that the doctor was being employed in order to somehow assuage white guilt (don’t ask me to explain the rationale; I have yet to make sense out of it).
The conservative press hit the ground running this week, enervated by the sermon given on Easter Sunday by Rev. Luis Leon, pastor of St. John’s Episcopal Church in Washington, D.C. President Obama and his family were in attendance as Leon launched into a divisive, blatantly racist, as well as wholly inaccurate rant calculated to engender antipathy toward white Christian conservatives and Republicans.
In 2007, I introduced America to Rev. Jeremiah Wright, who was Obama’s pastor at the time. The controversy over the then-senator’s association with this anti-American, racist radical was one of the more troublesome hurdles Obama faced toward winning the 2008 election. Rev. Leon’s apostate tirade was at least as inflammatory as anything Wright ever said, yet Obama was happy to remain to hear it, and of course the establishment press had nothing to say.
The unconcealed contempt this president has for America’s founding principles and the Constitution has now been matched by his evident indifference to the racism of his political allies. Yet this is in keeping with the increasing audacity he, his administration and Democratic politicians across America are now displaying. Tyrannical measures – whether involving health care, gun control, taxes, or soft drinks – are proposed, purportedly endorsed by “a majority of the American people” and made manifest almost overnight. Whether via executive order, recess appointment, back-room deals attendant to controversial legislation, or outright decree, progressives are getting their way again and again. The token resistance of Republican leaders and their perfunctory protests after the fact have been beyond pathetic.
As early as mid-2009, Americans were beginning to wonder how race relations had inexplicably grown worse, even in light of our having elected our post-racial first black president. I offered in this space that the reason for this stemmed from the fact that despite Obama having been sold as a centrist, radicals of varying stripes knew he was ideologically kindred and took his election as license to operate more overtly than they had in the past. These included black militants, career activists and sundry fringe agitators. Since his election, radical elements in the press, both black and otherwise, have also taken advantage of Obama’s sympathies to up their game.
Racial tension, odious and vexing though it may be, is nonetheless merely a device being used by this administration and its surrogates to foment anger and resentment; indeed, there are many other fronts whereupon similar tactics are being implemented. A number of interwoven plans are coming to fruition at present, and the reason we are seeing displays such as Rev. Leon’s is because they are Obama-sanctioned, or are perceived to be.
In other words, if it isn’t coming from White House operatives, it at least has the implicit approval of the president.
When the catalyst for widespread civil unrest – probably an economic one – materializes, it will be essential for maximum effect that anyone with an ax to grind is prepared to go for the throat of their perceived enemy. This will aid in facilitating the “unavoidable” action of government in exercising authority, influence and resources that once brandished, will never go back into the proverbial box.
Despite the radical element in America being a distinct minority, it behooves us to remember that a minority representing 10 percent of the population in South Africa was able to suppress the 90 percent majority for nearly 100 years, due only to the actions they were prepared to take in order to retain their power. At this point, I hope that I have made it clear who the enemies of the American people are, and what actions they are prepared to take to attain the same.
