Durban University of Technology’s SRC calls for expulsion of Jews

The Durban University of Technology’s student representative council has called for the expulsion of all Jewish students who do not support the Palestinian cause, according to a report.

The demand was sent to the university management, according to the Daily News newspaper.
The newspaper quoted SRC secretary Mqondisi Duma as saying: “As the SRC we had a meeting and analysed international politics. We took the decision that Jewish students, especially those who do not support the Palestinian struggle, should deregister.”
The university’s vice chancellor Prof Ahmed Bawa told the newspaper the demand was “totally unacceptable”.

Mandela would be ashamed of suck unconstructive, hateful, childish actions.
Their actions bring DISHONOR to the University and a blyte of Public Options of the University in the World.
Objective of a University setting is to rise above and create, not destroy.
That is to be left to the street thugs not the scholars.
These actions also fly in the face of this university Code of Conduct.

These students per the guidelines should be striped of office and brought before DUT court.

During the apartheid years, it was the ultra-liberal mainly Jewish faction led by Helen Suzman who fought tooth and nail against apartheid.
