Murderers from Sur Baher neighborhood only get charged with manslaughter

An injustice has been done for the victims of jihad rock throwing that killed a driver in east Jerusalem:
In a controversial decision by the State Attorney's Office on Thursday, the Arab men who threw rocks at Alexander Levlovich and killed him as he was driving in his car on Rosh Hashanah Eve were indicted on manslaughter charges instead of murder.

The five defendants, residents of the Sur Baher neighborhood of east Jerusalem, were charged with a series of other serious crimes, including causing grievous bodily harm, reckless endangerment, assaulting a police officer, arson and weapons manufacturing.

The Jerusalem District Prosecutor's Office explained that a murder charge requires proof of prior intent, for which sufficient evidence was unattainable.
Oh, that is just plain stupid. Anyone who throws rocks with such weight as they did knows it could lead to death, and that's what happened. The state attorney is an embarrassment, and should be replaced with somebody whose understanding of these issues is better.
