Grand Imam of Al-Azhar "Condemns" Attacks

"Islam Is Innocent of Terror"

There's not a lot of information about what he said, but to me this does not sound so much like a condemnation as it sounds like an aesthetic judgment against a poorly executed Jihad:

Grand Imam condemns attacks
Ahmad al-Tayyib, the Grand Imam of Al-Azhar (one of the highest Sunni authorities in the Muslim world) has strongly condemned the attacks in Paris, state news agency Mena reports.
Speaking during an international conference organized by the Ministry of Religious Endowments today, Al-Tayyib called the Paris terror attacks "chaotic", and stressed that Islam is innocent of terrorism.
After all these years, the BBC has not learned a thing about how to parse the words of Imams in the wake of Jihadist attacks.

Fucking pathetic.

Blitzkrieg had nothing to do with Nazism.

That didn't keep us from firebombing Dresden.

I'm getting to the point where I'm really starting to believe we're going to need to nuke these maniacs.

Less and less do I believe there is a significant population of decent people over there who are worth sparing and cultivating.

The ideology is a progenitor of terror based on many of the primary source documents.

This is the first time in years that Al- Azar is not under the influence of the Muslim Brotherhood, now Al- Azar says what Sisi tells them to say.

It sounds to me like you don't believe in Sisi, Ciccio.

Is that correct?
