What’s going on at Fox is HIGHLY EDUCATIONAL

What I am seeing at Fox is a graduate level course in media.
To be specific, how media controls what you see and how you see it to achieve a steak knife sharp conclusion.
It’s early morning but I have always been an early riser and I am watching the 5-6 AM Fox and Friends pre-game show.
As usual, nice looking gals with nice looking smiles and cheery attitude on high stools with legs crossed juuuuust right (and coached to that, IMHO) to greet your coffee. Ladies, you don’t need that.
There was another debate last night and this time I did not watch.
This is NOT intended to be a defense of Trump, but an examination of Fox’s manner of presenting OPINION as FACT CHECKED, settled science.
They just displayed a Trump clip in which he is complaining we are not bombing ISIS (enough?), nor taking out what supports all their efforts, OIL.
They then put on some gal as the arbiter of truth and reality to say this is false. That now we are taking out the oil.
Her claim is that at some point we were doing nothing but now we are not doing nothing. That we are taking out the oil facilities.
If that is so, we would have the HEADLINES about that, like this feeble attempt.
DECEMBER: Obama: U.S. Military Launched 9,000 Airstrikes Against ISIS So Far
Since when? 2011?
And we would have some version of THIS invading our screens:

If you search for ISIS Oil Facilities you get 7-10 pics of burning somethings (including oil trucks), and then upon examination some are Libya, some are the result of Russian attacks.
This is not an in depth academic study, but none is really possible at this time. Except, maybe for DIA.
If we were successful in eliminating ISIS oil generation and sales in any sensible measured manner, I think Mr’s. Obama and Kerry would be thrilled to tell us.
BTW, regarding that Obama statement of 9,000 raids…Of course TWO WEEKS EARLIER:
U.S. Pilots Confirm: Obama Admin Blocks 75 Percent of Islamic State Strikes
‘We can’t get clearance even when we have a clear target in front of us’
So here is how they call Trump false with a straight face from FACT CHECK:
The U.S. had been conducting limited, and admittedly not very effective, airstrikes against the terrorist group’s oil infrastructure “since the very beginning” of Operation Inherent Resolve, which is the name of U.S. operations against the Islamic State (or ISIL, as the administration refers to the group), according to Col. Steve Warren, a Defense Department spokesman. Operation Inherent Resolve started in August 2014.
In other words, since there HAVE BEEN attacks against oil infrastructure, to say we are not attacking oil is wrong. FACT CHECK=FALSE on Trump.
Of course, here is the Defense Secretary on our efforts:
Well, we learned over time, though, by using our regular — our — our normal assessment of strike, assess, decide whether or not we need to re-strike — what we learned is that the strikes that we were taking were — against pieces of the oil system that were easily repaired or replaced. So in many cases, we — you know, we’d conduct a strike against some piece of the oil infrastructure, and then within — you know, 24, 48, 72 hours, the enemy have managed to repair that piece of infrastructure, and — and were back up and running.
IMHO, in THIS PARTICULAR CASE, Mr. Trump is advocating eliminating what makes it possible for ISIS to conduct the operations of war, which are incredibly expensive. He is not president, he does not get the morning briefing, he is simply OBSERVING that what we are doing SUCKS towards achieving the stated objective, and advocating one POSSIBLE course.
IS THERE ANY ARGUMENT ABOUT THIS?
I made reference above to the fact that this is not an academic study of our attacks on ISIS oil production, refining or transport. It is a GLIMPSE of how Fox Cable News uses information to BEND what YOU perceive as fact.
They have taken a tortuous path to a conclusion reachable only by that method to state TRUMP FALSE CLAIM.
So Fox, why are you doing what you are doing?

BTW, Mr. Ailes, if you have evidence,

personal experience or other objective items,

or events which leads you to your OBVIOUS

conclusion about Mr. Trump, it would be

NICE if you let us know BEFORE THE

FUCKING NOMINATION

IS LOCKED UP.

SERIOUSLY
The unfortunate result is loss of faith in what turns out to be just one more all too typical entity

So Fox, why are you doing what you are doing?

Rove-ites.

I watched one hour and forty-five minutes of the debate. It was fairly flat. Trump does better when he is attacked. It seemed that Cruz prefaced too many statements with "If I am President...".

Rubio saved most of his passion for Cuba.

Trump did not back down on Islam hates us. "Hey look, at the largest mosques in the Middle East they are chanting 'Death to America'".

Cruz brought up Taylor Force being a Texas boy and somewhat used it to bash Trump for stating he is neutral regarding Israel and the Palestinians. His posture is that neutrality aides negotiations.

* Nice of the Republican party to remind us that ALL OF US will support whoever the nominee is. Yeah, we will "all support" whomever the GOP establishment shoves down our throats.

I predict a massive walk out by the delegates at the national convention. There will be a full revolt on the floor, in front of the public.

Best comeback from Trump? Rubio accused him of hurting some obscure missionary couple in Bangladesh with his comments against Islam, because "words have consequences". Trump shot back: Wanna talk consequences? We had aircraft flown into the Twin Towers, Pentagon and almost lost the White House.

And it begs the question: Why are Christians never safe when Muslims are a majority? Hmmm

Prince,
Trump must have assessed that "Trump fatigue," was setting in for enough folks that he revised his comportment. I'm sure that Trump is reading the neocons Twitter feeds -- as am I.

No doubt about it: Trump is a strategist, a strategist who is trouncing the Rove-ites.

TLEP,
So Rubio said a missionary couple in Bangladesh was hurt because Trump told a little truth about Islam?

What a little BITCH Rubio is.

He wants Trump to play by DHIMMI RULES??!??!!?

FUCK THAT.

That man should never be President.

WeaselZippers: Rubio communications director instructs supporters in Ohio to vote for Kasich

Sounds like that Georgia (Jekyll Island II) retreat has decided upon Kasich as their tool against Trump.

I seem to recall several instances during WWII of the US deliberately NOT bombing military targets because they were originally ownwde (and likely to return) by US interests (e.g. FOrd/Opel). Do we see history repeating itself?
