It Had Been Reported That Thieves Interfered With the Second Pressure Cooker Bomb, BUT GET A LOAD OF WHAT THE "THIEVES" LOOK LIKE

They look like likely accomplices to me.

The "Authorities" couldn't smell shit if you dropped it in their hand.

From the Washington Post:
The FBI said Wednesday afternoon that it was seeking “two unknown individuals” — the two men viewed on surveillance footage encountering the bomb that did not detonate in Manhattan on Saturday night.
In this footage, the two men are seen finding a suitcase, removing the explosives from it and then leaving with just the suitcase, officials said. Police have said that the two men are being viewed as witnesses, not suspects.
But in an announcement sent out, the FBI said agents are “interested in speaking to these individuals and recovering the luggage.” “We have no reason to believe that they’re connected,” James R. Waters, the New York Police Department’s chief of counterterrosim, said.
“I cannot stress enough. They are witnesses at this time. ”
Waters said investigators have pursued more than 100 leads in the case. He said the improvised explosive removed from the suitcase “was a very shock sensitive device,” adding of the two men who removed it: “They’re very, very lucky.”
GO READ THE WHOLE THING.

UPDATE -

MORE STUFF:

The two men who found the backpack full of explosives near a New Jersey Transit station in Elizabeth, Ivan White and his friend Lee Parker were walking to the store Saturday night on South Broad Street when they spotted the backpack on top of a garbage can. (video at link)

The two that the FBI are seeking appear to be of muhammedan persuasion.

"FBI agents arrested five men who may be connected to Saturday’s bombing in Chelsea after stopping their car in Brooklyn, sources said. The men were heading over the Verrazano Bridge from Staten Island when they were stopped Sunday night. Sources said the FBI suspected the men may have had a role in the bombing and were questioning them at the FBI headquarters in Manhattan.
It is believed the men, who live in New Jersey, were heading to the airport when they were busted.

Federal agents have released the five New Jersey residents they arrested in Brooklyn on Sept. 18 after determining they did not have a hand in Saturday’s bombing in Chelsea. 9/19/2016
Officials pulled the five over on the Belt Parkway in Bay Ridge on Sunday night after they came over the Verrazano-Narrows Bridge from Staten Island. The five — three men and two women — were relatives of Rahami, according to the New York Post.

DailyBeast: "Citing unnamed sources, the report said a group of people had been arrested near the Verrazano-Narrows Bridge with a stash of weapons inside their SUV."

Crooks&Liars: "Federal agents busted five people in Brooklyn in a possible connection to the Chelsea bombing after finding a bomb cache at a New Jersey train station late Sunday, law enforcement sources said.

The suspects were busted with a weapons stash inside a SUV along the Belt Parkway after authorities discovered three pipe bombs and two smaller devices at a train station in Elizabeth, the source said. ..."

THE FIVE WERE RELEASED.

-------
It is curious that EVERY one of these high casualty events are initially reported as involving multiple suspects and we ALWAYS wind up with only a single individual "lone wolf" arrest.

And if these fools had blown themselves up it would have been blamed on backlash?

Piss poor reportage. There were two separate discoveries of bombs which were related to the Chelsea bombing.

Look at the map of where these bombs were located:

Well, why haven't they come forward? Why do they seem so casual after their discovery? I would be asses and elbows to the nearest police officer on that one.
