From the Last English Prince:
Christmas Holiday at the Trump House
We all know the drill. Every family unit has that one relative who has lost their voice within the family because of a lifestyle of combativeness. This is the one relative which all sincerely hope will not show up for Christmas dinner.
Of course they show up. It is time for their yearly show. Once they have ruined the day and sent a torpedo across the bow of human decency associated with the tradition they take their plate of left-overs and head back home.
Once home, they relive their frightfully good time by continuing along with their bitching on line.
Chicago Illinois presented as Christmas Holiday at the Trump House.
Here are the things go consider regarding protest, should you engage the same at any rally:
Protest all you want outside the venue. Do a war dance, hold your sign, scream until all who pass can identify your uvula from a distance. Once stepping over the threshold, you are a “guest under the roof”. You are an invitee and as such, behave in an honorable manner.
Questions can be voiced and issues and concerns clarified. But do not bait the host.
We must engage the test of the reasonable man and ask a couple of questions regarding “Christmas Holiday at the Trump House”.
* Are national agitation propaganda cells involved?
* Are international agitation propaganda cells involved?
* Who benefits? Who benefits from wresting control of the script from Donald Trump?
* Who benefits from changing the conversation to one of a candidate fomenting violence?
The relative has shown up at the Trump house. Swallow or spit it out? You decide.

President Obama says he is more worried about climate change than the terrorist group ISIS

President Obama says he is more worried about climate change than the terrorist group ISIS
“ISIS is not an existential threat to the United States,” he told Atlantic correspondent Jeffrey Goldberg. “Climate change is a potential existential threat to the entire world if we don’t do something about it.”
Climate change is particularly worrisome, Obama said, because “it is a political problem perfectly designed to repel government intervention. It involves every single country, and it is a comparatively slow-moving emergency, so there is always something seemingly more urgent on the agenda.”
And climate change is probably helping fuel groups like ISIS, he said.
“Right now, across the globe, you’re seeing places that are undergoing severe stress because of globalization, because of the collision of cultures brought about by the Internet and social media, because of scarcities—some of which will be attributable to climate change over the next several decades—because of population growth,” Obama said.
“And in those places, the Middle East being Exhibit A, the default position for a lot of folks is to organize tightly in the tribe and to push back or strike out against those who are different.” Climate change will also likely create new refugee problems as arable land becomes more scarce.
“If you start seeing more severe drought; more significant famine; more displacement from the Indian subcontinent and coastal regions in Africa and Asia; the continuing problems of scarcity, refugees, poverty, disease—this makes every other problem we’ve got worse,” he said.
“That’s above and beyond just the existential issues of a planet that starts getting into a bad feedback loop.” While the Democratic candidates for president have pledged to continue Obama’s legacy fighting climate change, Republican candidates have shown no interest in tackling the problem.
Donald Trump recently told radio host Hugh Hewitt that climate change is, “a problem that I don’t think in any major fashion exists,” while Ted Cruz has called climate change “a religion” and “not science.”
Obama continues to press on with initiatives to address climate change; Thursday, he is expected to announce a new pact with Canada to cut methane emissions and protect remote communities and ecologically sensitive marine areas in the Arctic.

Paris attackers listed in leaked ISIS files

Paris attackers listed in leaked ISIS files
Berlin (AFP) - A trove of leaked Islamic State group documents features the names of the three jihadists who carried out the assault on the Bataclan theatre during November's terror attacks in Paris, German media reported Friday.
Among the thousands of IS registration papers were those of Samy Amimour, Foued Mohamed-Aggad and Omar Ismail Mostefai, said public broadcasters NDR and WDR and Munich daily Sueddeutsche Zeitung.
The three men, using guns and suicide vests, killed 90 people at the Bataclan during a concert by rock band Eagles of Death Metal in the deadliest attack of the bloody rampage that claimed 130 lives across the French capital on November 13.
The German research team said it had now obtained data on several thousand IS members from a total of 22,000 documents, many of them duplicates, which were earlier also obtained by British broadcaster Sky News.
They contain the names, addresses, phone numbers and family contacts of jihadists who joined IS, as well as their blood type, mother's maiden name, "level of sharia understanding" and previous experience.
The fighters listed in the cache of documents came from across Europe and from the United States, Russia, Indonesia, South Africa and Trinidad and Tobago, the German media team said.

MoveOn takes credit for Trump rally cancellation? What do they think they accomplished?

This morning upon listening I have no doubt that Chicago police felt they could control the streets outside the U. Illinois event.
I have no doubt that Mr. Trump could be protected, although I am certain that the secret service detail was adamant he not appear.
I am CERTAIN that the Trump rally was cancelled because of concern that people INSIDE the rally would be injured or worse.

Anyone want to wager on what this will mean for Trump’s polling and finish in that primary?
I saw people shrieking into the TV that hate speech was not free speech. I have to wonder if they have any education.
I was inside MANY demonstrations 67-71, and the idea then was to raise the consciousness of those who saw us on TV about the war in Vietnam so that support would evaporate. And then the Chicago police actually were te ones to riot in 1968, live on TV.
Last night these people showed up for the express purpose of denying the public the right to decide. We have seen this kind of political tactic before and we don;t have to go thru who that has been SEVERAL TIMES thru the 20th century
Okay Bernie, this is now on you, to tell your followers what went on last night is horrific to the American process and totally unacceptable, and you neither need nor want support whose goal is to control the free speech and the electoral process by endangering others?
I, PRIOR to this point, am a very reluctant Trump vote. I believe in high levels immigration if others wish to become Americans in large numbers, I believe in ZERO ILLEGAL immigration. I believe in FAIR TRADE, and can see with my own eyes what Free Trade has done (so does Bernie).
However, a good look at the folks last night and both WHAT they want to accomplish and HOW they intend to go about their business is awakening something else.
Do they really want this to be Rome in 100BC?
That took a while but it did not end well.
Let’s be clear, this could not have helped Trump more, than if he himself intended this as a provocation to violent opponents.

UPDATED - Dubai Official Warns Of "Clash of Civilizations" Over Trump

DUBAI, United Arab Emirates (AP) — A top security official in Dubai warned Friday of a "clash of civilizations" if U.S. Republican candidate Donald Trump becomes president, the latest sign of disquiet across the Middle East over the businessman's comments about Muslims.
Trump refused to back away from his recent statement that "Islam hates the West" during a Republican debate Thursday night in Miami, which came after he called in December for a ban on Muslims entering the United States.
Trump said he wouldn't stoop to being "politically correct" by avoiding such statements. Lt. Gen. Dhahi Khalfan Tamim, the deputy chairman of police and general security in Dubai, took to Twitter to respond.
Referencing political scientist Samuel P. Huntington's theory that future wars would be fought between cultures, Tamim warned that a Trump win could see him face Islamic State group leader Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi.
"If Trump beats Hillary (Clinton), that means that the scenario of the clash of civilizations created by Samuel will come to light at the hands of the candidate and al-Baghdadi," Tamim wrote.
Trump has for years looked to do business in the Middle East, particularly in the Gulf and the emirate of Dubai. Trump has lent his name to two high-profile Dubai golf course projects and an ongoing real estate development, and sought for years to expand his hotel chain into the region.
Since his comments in December, a Mideast company, the Dubai-based Landmark Group, said it would pull all Trump home decor products at its 180 Lifestyle stores in the region as it "values and respects the sentiments of its customers." In Lebanon,
Abdelsalam Shalash, a resident of the capital, Beirut, said Trump is trying to win by playing on people's fears.
"He is using propaganda to convince people that our enemy is either the Muslims or the Mexicans, and it's rallying up a lot of people because people are afraid," Shalash said. "And fear is one of the easiest concepts to make use of."
A few things to consider here.

1) Abdelsalem Shalash criticizes Trump for using "fear." Yet, that is exactly what he is doing to Trump. Trump did not say Islam is our enemy. He said a lot of Muslims hate us, and he believes it might have something to do with Islam, and we'd better stop immigration "until we figure out what is going on."

2) Abdelsalem Shalash is smart enough to know that Trump does not hate Muslims, and that he does not seek a "clash of civilizations." Trump has always done business with Muslims, and it is the Muslims who have put a stop to that, not Trump. Therefore, the problem Dubai has with Trump is not his alleged dislike of Muslims, but is, instead, Dubai's push for a Globalization that Trump clearly opposes.

3) The article says that for years Trump has "for years looked to do business in the Middle East". In fact, as the article makes clear, for years Trump HAS done business in the Middle East. Now, having made the statements he has made, he has lost all of that business. That is a very brave stand for Trump to have taken. Yet, he is given no credit for it. Other candidates do everything they can to ingratiate themselves to those who will donate money to them, or pay them huge speaking fees. Trump, on the other hand, says what is on his mind, even if it costs him business.

Dubai threatened by Donald Trump as POTUS? Clash of Civilizations? Seems an extreme reaction, unless one considers some of Dubai's interests here in the USA…

Now, what would those interests be?

Hijacking The GOP?

The Rove-ites keep saying that Donald Trump is hijacking the GOP. I'm sick to death of hearing that!

Furthermore, that position is not tethered to reality.

From Real Clear Politics:
A top Republican consultant whined last week, "Donald Trump is hijacking the Republican Party."

Trumpism isn't hard to explain. We've had eight years of a mostly failed Republican president followed by eight years of a completely failed Democrat. Over this whole period, the middle class hasn't seen a pay increase -- while GOP political consultants rake in millions as a reward for losing. The fact that four of the wealthiest counties in America are inside or near the Washington Beltway says everything to voters about who is benefiting from a $4 trillion government.

The Republicans have only themselves to blame for this working-class revolt. These are voters who are horrified by what Barack Obama has done to our country and, so, in the 2014 midterm elections, they naively put their faith in Republicans to at least try to fix thing.

Why wouldn't [Trump supporters] feel betrayed?...
Read the rest HERE.  And the author of this essay is not a Trump supporter.

Neocons are masquerading as Reaganites. Over and over again.  It's the propaganda war of this primary season.

And while I’m talking about Fox, hey, Megyn ..

BTW, Megyn has morphed from a knowledgeable, effective, aggressive, no holds barred, highly attractive, DA of a reporter into a more severe harridan-like version with that hair and new appearance.
Somewhat off putting.
So have a steak, and some grilled swordfish, Megyn, ask Heather Nauert about her protein diet, how she works out, and grow it back out.
And then tackle Trump et al with the inner vision of how you obliterated that idiot Burton in your mind’s eye. Much more effective when there’s a hint and a hope of vulnerability when you drive the iron stake through their brains.
When you’re on the floor of the Coliseum it’s always better to see which person thinks they’re the lion. There should always be a dimension of sport to this.
The alternatives are not pleasant to contemplate.

What’s going on at Fox is HIGHLY EDUCATIONAL

What I am seeing at Fox is a graduate level course in media.
To be specific, how media controls what you see and how you see it to achieve a steak knife sharp conclusion.
It’s early morning but I have always been an early riser and I am watching the 5-6 AM Fox and Friends pre-game show.
As usual, nice looking gals with nice looking smiles and cheery attitude on high stools with legs crossed juuuuust right (and coached to that, IMHO) to greet your coffee. Ladies, you don’t need that.
There was another debate last night and this time I did not watch.
This is NOT intended to be a defense of Trump, but an examination of Fox’s manner of presenting OPINION as FACT CHECKED, settled science.
They just displayed a Trump clip in which he is complaining we are not bombing ISIS (enough?), nor taking out what supports all their efforts, OIL.
They then put on some gal as the arbiter of truth and reality to say this is false. That now we are taking out the oil.
Her claim is that at some point we were doing nothing but now we are not doing nothing. That we are taking out the oil facilities.
If that is so, we would have the HEADLINES about that, like this feeble attempt.
DECEMBER: Obama: U.S. Military Launched 9,000 Airstrikes Against ISIS So Far
Since when? 2011?
And we would have some version of THIS invading our screens:

If you search for ISIS Oil Facilities you get 7-10 pics of burning somethings (including oil trucks), and then upon examination some are Libya, some are the result of Russian attacks.
This is not an in depth academic study, but none is really possible at this time. Except, maybe for DIA.
If we were successful in eliminating ISIS oil generation and sales in any sensible measured manner, I think Mr’s. Obama and Kerry would be thrilled to tell us.
BTW, regarding that Obama statement of 9,000 raids…Of course TWO WEEKS EARLIER:
U.S. Pilots Confirm: Obama Admin Blocks 75 Percent of Islamic State Strikes
‘We can’t get clearance even when we have a clear target in front of us’
So here is how they call Trump false with a straight face from FACT CHECK:
The U.S. had been conducting limited, and admittedly not very effective, airstrikes against the terrorist group’s oil infrastructure “since the very beginning” of Operation Inherent Resolve, which is the name of U.S. operations against the Islamic State (or ISIL, as the administration refers to the group), according to Col. Steve Warren, a Defense Department spokesman. Operation Inherent Resolve started in August 2014.
In other words, since there HAVE BEEN attacks against oil infrastructure, to say we are not attacking oil is wrong. FACT CHECK=FALSE on Trump.
Of course, here is the Defense Secretary on our efforts:
Well, we learned over time, though, by using our regular — our — our normal assessment of strike, assess, decide whether or not we need to re-strike — what we learned is that the strikes that we were taking were — against pieces of the oil system that were easily repaired or replaced. So in many cases, we — you know, we’d conduct a strike against some piece of the oil infrastructure, and then within — you know, 24, 48, 72 hours, the enemy have managed to repair that piece of infrastructure, and — and were back up and running.
IMHO, in THIS PARTICULAR CASE, Mr. Trump is advocating eliminating what makes it possible for ISIS to conduct the operations of war, which are incredibly expensive. He is not president, he does not get the morning briefing, he is simply OBSERVING that what we are doing SUCKS towards achieving the stated objective, and advocating one POSSIBLE course.
I made reference above to the fact that this is not an academic study of our attacks on ISIS oil production, refining or transport. It is a GLIMPSE of how Fox Cable News uses information to BEND what YOU perceive as fact.
They have taken a tortuous path to a conclusion reachable only by that method to state TRUMP FALSE CLAIM.
So Fox, why are you doing what you are doing?

BTW, Mr. Ailes, if you have evidence,

personal experience or other objective items,

or events which leads you to your OBVIOUS

conclusion about Mr. Trump, it would be

NICE if you let us know BEFORE THE

The unfortunate result is loss of faith in what turns out to be just one more all too typical entity

Donald Trump: "I Think Islam Hates Us"

From the Blaze:
Republican front-runner Donald Trump said Wednesday that he believes Islam “hates us” — referring to the United States — and called on the U.S. to “expand” it’s use of enhanced interrogation techniques against terrorist groups.
“I think Islam hates us,” Trump told CNN’s Anderson Cooper during a sit-down interview. “There’s something there that — there’s a tremendous hatred there. There’s a tremendous hatred. We have to get to the bottom of it. There’s an unbelievable hatred of us.”
The brash billionaire was responding to a question from Cooper, who asked Trump if he believes that “Islam is at war with the West.”
When pressed, Trump deferred but did say that it’s “very hard to separate” peaceful Muslims from Islam’s radical adherents.
“It’s radical, but it’s very hard to define; it’s very hard to separate because you don’t know who’s who,” Trump said.
Trump went on to explain that he believes the U.S. should escalate their usage of enhanced interrogation techniques, such as waterboarding, against the Islamic State and other terrorist organizations.
“We have to the play the game at a much tougher level than we’re playing it. We have to expand those laws,” he said. “Everyone believes in the Geneva Convention until they start losing and then they say let’s take out the bomb.”
It sounds to me like Trump is calling for a national conversation - on the subject of Islam - in which we do not allow ourselves to be walled in by the usually politically correct platitudes ...
"Islam is a Religion of Peace ..."
"We are not at war with Islam ..."
"Moderate Muslims ..."

All those things can be true on an individual Muslim-by-Muslim basis, and still not be true on a macro-scale.

War and Ideology are conducted on a Macro-scale, no matter what we may wish to be true.

Islam is defined by Muslims, not by the West.

If Muslims want to redefine Islam, it is up to them, not to us.

We must simply go by the facts on the ground.

The facts on the ground are the reality of what happens when Islam is in charge.

There is no Islamic nation in the world where Individual rights are respected, where the rights of women are respected, or violence is not seen by a large number of people to be the solution to a perceived "insult" towards the Islamic religion.

This is an untenable situation. There is no compromise with that reality.

We can not trade away part of our freedom for part of their dislike of our way of life. That would get us nowhere.

So yes, we need to discuss this. We need to "get to the bottom of it", as Trump says.

And THAT Is Why The GOP MUST Be Destroyed!!!!!!!

From Yahoo News:
Imagine you have this incredibly valuable sports car, and when you drive it up to a valet stand there are two guys anxiously vying to take the keys.
One of them looks wild-eyed and agitated, like he just drank seven Red Bulls.
The other is a guy you remember from high school, except that you hated each other and he’s eyeing the hubcaps with contempt.
Now you have a rough idea of how Republican insiders in Washington are feeling this week.
I believe this article has it exactly right.

The GOP - the people who make up the power structure of the Republican Party - do really believe the GOP is THEIR car. THEIR BRAND.

They believe it is THEIRS.

Not the people.

That is why they need to be DESTROYED!!!

German Report: More Violence, Rape, Theft, Radicalization Likely Due to Migrant Influx

The "Migrants" Are Restless

German Report: More Violence, Rape, Theft, Radicalization Likely Due to Migrant Influx
The report says ‘immigration will lead to more crime and increased police usage’ to combat it.
The number of crimes – of violence, sexual, property theft and narcotic offences – will rise, says the paper of the North Rhine-Westphalian department of the interior whose ‘Immigration’ project involves both individual states and central government.
The document, entitled ‘Challenges To And Impact On The Police’, was leaked to news magazine Spiegel. […] The report warns that as well as rising crime in the future, Islamists are ‘agitating’ in asylum homes, increasing the risk of radicalisation among disaffected refugees.
It said there have been ‘hundreds’ of incidents in the past few months where Salafists ‘have sought contact with refugees’.

How do you decide to vote?

This crazy election which ‘SUCKS’ according to my older son (I agree) has seen wild gyrations of sentiment and thought on the candidates so here is an effort from my point of view.
Lets rate these people as of today, March 10, 8 months to go
What’s important to me? These are not necessarily in order given any day.

Physical safety

A, C, B, D, F, E
We are talking here about enemies who cannot be deterred (ISIS, Al Nusra, AQ etc - AND PROBABLY IRAN)
Enemies who can be deterred (Russia, China)
Enemies on a rapid expansion course which MIGHT put us on a collision course (Russia, China, Iran)
Strong diplomatic actions backing up an effective military which is matched by good planning to the missions previously IMAGINED

A, B, F, TIE among the rest - Anyone in favor of the TPP is in favor of the economy we have seen developing since the 70′s. Little manufacturing (where the GP is, folks), lower paying service jobs growing, huge growth in gov employment

Kasich wants to reduce social security, and when this was objected to at a town hall, told the person so objecting to ‘get over it’. Once a president farts with changing social security to those already in it, or anywhere NEAR retirement, all bets are off.  He did find a UNIQUE way to expand Medicaid and put the expansion into private hands.
Bernie is a unique case because he is accurate in assessing so many of the problems (including TBTF), and in sensing how pissed off Americans are, but as far as I can see he will address the jobs situation after ending free trade by building highways and bridges? Hard to fathom. And in his single payer health insurance, while this is a tempting financial relief, Britain is a mess, the VA is a worse and corrupt mess, and what do you think will happen to medical research when there is no real profit anymore for the great risks to be taken, and the federal govt essentially dictates pricing? I was in that field before retiring, and in Britain, there was a VERY scarce market (comparatively) for the equipment and software needed to conduct research.
The key to the second half of the economy, FISCAL RESPONSIBILITY is a growing economy, More people, chasing fewer and fewer resources is not even a zero sum game. If we can’t grow rapidly, we will never have anything but more debt.

Inherent desire to be faithful to the Constitution in spirit as well as in law

They are all tied for last. I trust NO ONE.
Cruz has been trumpeted as being Mr. Constitution but has exhibited the spirit of freedom of religion ONLY as it exists for his NARROW view of that (Bickle). I don’t believe in him. As a religious minority, his apparent views are at the level of anathema. Many good people disagree with me on this. But as an American who happens to be Jewish .. he’s OUT.
Trump’s ideas on Eminent Domain are ATROCIOUS and scary. If you even CONSIDER the idea of seizing someone’s property and REMOVING their way of life, it had better be for STRONG and unavoidable national need. He values it as tool to achieve an expedient end, justifying it as a way to make the target wealthier. He looks pretty authoritarian to me, as well.
Bernie is an outright socialist who has no idea of anything but that eventually community property is destiny
HRC will do whatever expedient need and desire dictate while seeking inventive ways to frame her illegal wants and needs.
Rubio wants to kill the bad guys wherever they are and one can certainly see the good side to that, but war outside the Constitution means the people will abandon support all to soon. This has been true as far back as LINCOLN. I have not heard Rubio talk about a declaration of war.
Kasich wants executive authority. That’s the prime reason why none of them can be trusted.

This go round, boy I really have little care for this.

So far, a very, very uncomfortable vote for Trump. It seems he has the best chance of the 6 to grow the economy, is aggressive but realistic on security, SUCKS on restraint of federal authority but is no worse than any of them (Cruz’s desire for a small govt being balanced by his religious freedom faults - a personal issue), but will have to be watched carefully once he takes the oath (don’t they all?).

Trump ‘University’ issues look and sound PRETTY BAD, I look forward to hearing the other side of that, but it points to the worry he MAY BE charlatan. That such a person is being considered and favored is measure of the rest of the field.

In a few days, I might reorder this farce. How could we have started with so many and now it sucks?

I might ‘like’ Trump the least personally, but you know….

Secret court approves classified rule change on how FBI can use NSA data

Secret court approves classified rule change on how FBI can use NSA data
On Tuesday, The Guardian reported that the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) has changed its rules regarding how it redacts Americans’ information when it takes international communications from the National Security Agency’s (NSA) database.
The paper confirmed the classified rule change with unnamed US officials, but details on the new rules remain murky.
The new rules, which were approved by the secret US Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Court (FISC), deal with how the FBI handles information it gleans from the National Security Agency (NSA).
Although the NSA is technically tasked with surveillance of communications involving foreigners, information on US citizens is inevitably sucked up, too. The FBI is then allowed to search through that data without any “minimization” from the NSA—a term that refers to redacting Americans’ identifiable information unless there is a warrant to justify surveillance on that person.
The FBI enjoys privileged access to this information trove that includes e-mails, texts, and phone call metadata that are sent or received internationally. Recently, the Obama administration said it was working on new rules to allow other US government agencies similar access to the NSA’s database.

Iran Now Testing Ballistic Missiles Designed To Hit Israel, With ‘Israel Must Be Wiped From History’ Written On Them

From Reuters:
Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps (IRGC) test-fired two ballistic missiles on Wednesday that it said were designed to be able to hit Israel, defying U.S. criticism of similar tests carried out this week.
State television showed footage of two Qadr missiles being launched from northern Iran which the IRGC said hit targets 1,400 km (870 miles) away. Tests on Tuesday drew a threat of new sanctions from the United States.
"The reason we designed our missiles with a range of 2,000 km is to be able to hit our enemy the Zionist regime from a safe distance," Brigadier General Amir Ali Hajizadeh was quoted as saying by the ISNA agency.
The nearest point in Iran is around 1,000 km (621 miles) from Tel Aviv and Jerusalem. The Obama administration is aware of the latest tests, U.S. officials said.
"Just as with the earlier reported test launches, we will look at these and take the appropriate response, both at the U.N. and unilaterally as appropriate," said a senior administration official who did not want to be named.
Iranian agencies said the missiles tested on Wednesday were stamped with the words "Israel should be wiped from the pages of history" in Hebrew.

Carly endorses

If the polls hold up, will it matter in a week or so?

Given Fiorina's political history, this does NOT reflect well for Cruz.

Admittedly, as an avid Islamophile, it was not at all likely that Fiorina would endorse Trump - thankfully.

Surprised she didn't endorse Hillary...
video: Carly Fiorina pays tribute to Hillary while campaigning for McCain

But, given Fiorina's prior statements affirming progressive priorities, Cruz has good reason to graciously accept her endorsement while maintaining severe reservations about her motives:

"there is no job that is America's God-given right anymore."

if you don’t have a room full of “diversity” when making an important decision, you will not get the decision right. (ff 9:43 - 13:00)

In the heat of the 2011 debt ceiling fight, when Carly was the Vice Chair of the NRSC and vouching for the positions of Mitch McConnell, she said that she disagrees with conservatives.

Fiorina said she supports the DREAM Act

In Feb 2013, when the Gang of 8 released the worst comprehensive amnesty bill of our time, Carly was one of its biggest cheerleaders on the Sunday shows.

Carly Fiorina Pushing Anti-Privacy Bill
On "'Meet the Press', she called upon Congress to pass the Cybersecurity Information Sharing Act. The bill would immunize companies

"Please read the entire speech and pay close attention to the closing paragraphs. What you will note is an almost eerie similarity to current Secretary of State John Kerry vis-a-vis the “Jobs for Jihad” program he, and his globalist co-horts, have been advocating for the past three years.

If the Pentagon wanted to get Cruz elected, this is how to do it

Pentagon admits it has deployed military spy drones over the U.S.

The Pentagon has deployed drones to spy over U.S. territory for non-military missions over the past decade, but the flights have been rare and lawful, according to a new report.
The report by a Pentagon inspector general, made public under a Freedom of Information Act request, said spy drones on non-military missions have occurred fewer than 20 times between 2006 and 2015 and always in compliance with existing law.
The report, which did not provide details on any of the domestic spying missions,  said the Pentagon takes the issue of military drones used on American soil “very seriously.”
A senior policy analyst for the ACLU, Jay Stanley, said it is good news no legal violations were found, yet the technology is so advanced that it’s possible laws may require revision.
“Sometimes, new technology changes so rapidly that existing law no longer fit what people think are appropriate,” Stanley said. “It’s important to remember that the American people do find this to be a very, very sensitive topic.”
The use of unmanned aerial surveillance (UAS) drones over U.S. surfaced in 2013 when then-FBI director Robert Mueller testified before Congress that the bureau employed spy drones to aid investigations, but in a “very, very minimal way, very seldom.”

Trump takes 3 of 4, and LEADS in FL and OH. Hillary loses but wins

Bernie's been saying the system is rigged.
Hard to argue

Pull it down on that side, Bernie. We’re pulling for you on both ends of the political bell curve.
Meanwhile, with Trump’s wins last night and polls showing a BIG lead, like 45-28 in Florida, and about 3-6% in Ohio, and the winner take all states coming, it looks like a narrowing is in store.
Maybe a narrowing to ONE.

Swedish women warned 'don't go out at night' amid migrant sex attacks

From The Express:
Officers in picturesque Östersund issued the astonishing warning after gangs of "foreign" men went on the rampage, attempting to rape women in the street and even groping a group of 10-year-old girls at a bus stop.
The shocking announcement will heighten concerns around the effects of mass migration on Sweden, which has been struggling to integrate more then 150,000 predominantly Muslim migrants.
Women in the tiny lakeside town of Östersund, in central Sweden, have been terrorised by sex attacks with six such incidents being recorded in the last two weeks.
In all of the cases the male attackers, often acting in gangs, were described as being "of foreign appearance".
The attacks come as Swedish authorities have begun sending increasing numbers of migrants to a refugee reception centre in the small town because all accommodation further south has already been filled.
Speaking at an extraordinary press conference yesterday police chiefs issued a stunning warning to women, telling them Östersund is now so unsafe they should not go out after dark alone.

Trump Wins Mississippi, Michigan, Hawaii – Polls Show Him Beating Rubio in Florida and Kasich in Ohio, Is On Target to Win Nomination Outright

Donald Trump won the MichiganMississippi and Hawaii Republican primaries on Tuesday night.

Donald Trump has a commanding lead over Marco Rubio and John Kasich in their home states.
A CNN/ORC poll out Wednesday has Trump holding the lead in Florida with almost double the share of voters than Rubio (40 percent to 24 percent). Cruz follows with 19 percent and Kasich has just 5 percent.
The poll of Ohio Republicans has Trump ahead of the Ohio governor 41 percent to 35 percent. Texas Sen. Ted Cruz has 15 percent and Rubio is a distant fourth with 7 percent.
Rubio's campaign is working nonstop to try and win the state. The Florida senator has essentially camped out in Florida, doing back to back events throughout the state.
Trump appeared on CNN “New Day” Wednesday and was asked about the poll, particularly what it means if he’s able to take both states. “At that point it’s pretty tough for anybody to do anything,” he said.
“I would love to see the party come together and unify.”
In this video, below, Donald Trump is talking about an ad put out by his detractors, which shows him using cuss word after cuss word.

He addresses the add, and then responds to a reporter's question about his word usage.

UPDATED Massive Explosion Rips Through Seattle Neighborhood, 9 Firefighters Injured

This happened just about a half hour ago. And while the story doesn't explicitly say it, it sounds to me like the Firefighters must have already been on the scene, when the explosion occurred.

From CNN:
(CNN)A massive explosion ripped through Seattle early Wednesday -- obliterating at least one building, damaging several others and sending nine firefighters to a hospital in the Washington state city.
The one battalion chief and eight firefighters transported to Harborview Medical Center suffered minor injuries, said Seattle fire spokeswoman Corey Orvold.
In a statement, Harborview Medical indicated that all nine were in satisfactory condition with injuries ranging from burns to cuts to abrasions.
While they recovered, their colleagues remained at the scene to address lingering flames and other issues in the city's Greenwood neighborhood.
The Seattle Fire Department tweeted around 3:30 a.m (6:30 a.m. ET) that 67 personnel -- including firefighters, commanders and medics -- were on site.
It wasn't immediately known if anyone was inside the building at the epicenter of the pre-dawn blast.

Ted Cruz As The Establishment Candidate?

The neocons are now supporting Ted Cruz:
Ted Cruz on Tuesday [March 8] nabbed an unlikely endorsement: the backing of a Bush.

Neil Bush, a brother of George W. Bush and Jeb Bush, was listed (along with his wife) as one of 13 new additions to Cruz's national finance team. The campaign said the new additions are all former supporters of other candidates, including Bush, Rand Paul, Rick Perry and Marco Rubio.

This follows the release last week of a list of several other previous Jeb Bush backers now supporting Cruz, whose hardline conservative approach is generally at odds with the one Jeb Bush took.

Last summer, former President George W. Bush told supporters at a private fundraiser for his brother's campaign that Cruz was the GOP contender who most got under his skin. "I just don't like the guy," George W. Bush said at a Denver fundraiser....
The neocons have despised Cruz. But not now.

Defeating Trump?

The Trump Train

This essay by Helen Delich Bentley, Republican member of the House of Representatives from 1985 to 1995, asserts that blocking Trump from being the nominee would be unfair.

..Trump is inspiring tens of millions of Americans of all ages, races, religions and ideologies. He is inspiring them with novel ideas such as requiring that immigrants and visitors come into this country legally with proper documentation and making sure that we can properly vet everyone who wants to come to this country. He is inspiring them with novel ideas such as not rewarding corporations for taking jobs out of the country to parts of the world that have no minimum wage, environmental or child labor laws so that they can turn around and sell cheap goods to the Americans whose jobs they exported. He is inspiring them with novel ideas such as not expanding benefits to illegal immigrants while veterans — American heroes — are dying because we cannot treat them quickly enough.

If the Republican establishment does not like Trump’s ideas, it should try to beat him fair and square, by capturing the hearts and imaginations of the voters, as Trump has done over the past six months. If it can beat him fair and square, with a majority of votes and a majority of delegates, then the party — including those of us who support Trump — will come together behind the eventual nominee. But if the nomination is stolen from Trump through shadowy billionaire super-PAC money and “brokered convention” chicanery, I sadly predict that the party that I love and have helped to build for more than half a century will suffer a massive schism that may send it the way of the Whigs....
Read the rest HERE.

There is the very real possibility that Trump cannot be stopped from traveling further along the road to the nomination. From This essay, "The 25-Year Tide That Gave Us Trump,":
Trump’s popularity is a direct result of a tsunami of economic and cultural globalism that has flooded the shores of America over the last 25 years. The overwhelming pace of this change has upended both the country and the relationship that working-class voters have with both political parties, but especially the GOP....
Important factors according to that essay: economic globalism, cultural globalism (including concerns about Islamic terrorism), and the Great Recession with the 2008 Wall Street bailout. In sum:
They [the middle class] want an outsider — someone strong enough to take on the system, someone who will not fix it or reform it but break it. Someone who will drop an anvil on the system’s head the way one was dropped on theirs [the heads of the middle class].
Read the entire essay HERE.

Of note: Marco Rubio, perceived as a GOP-establishment candidate, didn't pick up a single delegate yesterday.

Neoconservatism (the tenets of the establishment GOP and often referred to as "modern conservatism") is struggling to survive. Should it survive?  And does neoconservativism really protect American interests?

The Wrap:

GOP and Tech Leaders Hold Secret Meeting to Stop Trump

Gathering took place at a private island resort over the weekend
Silicon Valley may be a bastion of liberals, but the threat of a Donald Trump presidency had some of technology’s biggest names meeting behind closed doors with members of the Republican elite.
Apple CEO Tim Cook, Google co-founder and Alphabet CEO Larry Page, billionaire Facebook investor Sean Parker and Tesla Motors CEO Elon Musk met with GOP officials last weekend to talk about stopping the mogul-turned-reality-star from becoming president, according to a report by The Huffington Post, citing people familiar with the event.
“There was much unhappiness about his emergence, a good deal of talk, some of it insightful and thoughtful, about why he’s done so well, and many expressions of hope that he would be defeated,” Weekly Standard editor Bill Kristol wrote in an emailed report that the Huffington Post obtained and that borrowed from unlikely source material — Karl Marx’s “The Communist Manifesto.”
“The key task now … is less to understand Trump than to stop him,” Kristol continued. “In general, there’s a little too much hand-wringing, brow-furrowing, and fatalism out there and not quite enough resolving to save the party from nominating or the country electing someone who simply shouldn’t be president.”The off-the-record meeting happened as part of the neoconservative American Enterprise Institute’s annual World Forum, a famously secretive summit on a private island resort off the coast of Georgia.
Attendees included Republican strategist Karl Rove, Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell, New York Times publisher Arthur Sulzberger and Arkansas Sen. Tom Cotton, who also had a tense debate with Apple’s Cook over the company’s fight with the FBI over a terrorist’s locked iPhone.
But the meeting’s highlight was Rove presenting focus group findings about Trump, which indicated that the frontrunner’s biggest weakness is that voters have difficulty envisioning him as “presidential” or a role model for children.
Much of the conversation around Trump centered on how his momentum reached the point where he became the presumptive nominee, rather than how to stop him, the report said, citing sources familiar with the meeting.
Apple, Alphabet, Facebook, Tesla and the New York Times didn’t immediately respond to TheWrap’s messages seeking comment. Representatives for Rove, McConnell and Cotton also didn’t immediately respond to requests for comment.

Yeah, I Admit, This Is Really Fuckin' Strange

NYPost: Boston Bombing survivor dies in car crash in Dubai

An updated and related article from another source:
"Canadian boxer among four killed in Dubai Ferrari car crash"
provides more questions than answers:

"DUBAI // Two men and two women died when their rented, two-seat Ferrari 458 Spider hit a pavement, crashed into a lamppost and split in two in the early hours of Sunday.

How do four adults fit into a two seater?

I couldn't help but wonder what the devil this young lady was doing in Dubai after having survived the Boston Marathon bombing? Given the misogynist nature of that culture and details provided in the above quote about the two seat vehicle involving 4 passenger deaths...one cannot help but ask, were these women really involved in that car crash or did they fall victim to something/someone else?

Pope Francis Says 'It is a Social Fact' That Europe is Seeing an 'Arab Invasion' and That's a Good Thing

Pope Francis referred to an 'Arab invasion' when he was recalling the moments of mass migration to Europe in history, according the Vatican newspaper L'Osservatore Romano. 'Today we can talk about an Arab invasion. It is a social fact,' he told his audience.
The pope went on to explain that the arrival of migrants, predominantly from Syria and Iraq, should be seen from a wider perspective in time and impact.
He insisted Europe will 'go forward and find itself enhanced by the exchange among cultures.' Speaking proudly of Europe, the Pope declared that the continent 'can bring about a certain unity to the world.'
